COMMUNITY ORGANIZING INTERNATIONALLY: Obama’s Dangerous Iran Game

I don’t want to shock or upset you on this lovely summer day, but I must share a couple of unpleasant realities here; specifically,

The world is a much more dangerous place today, as a result of Barack Obama’s surrender to Iran.

Barack Obama is lying through his teeth about it.

That last one had to be difficult to accept I know, but sadly, once again it’s true. Like all leftists, Barack Obama has no problem lying in the service of the cause.

Obama knows that this deal will not stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. It will facilitate it. There is a more troubling reality we must confront. Barack Obama wants Iran to be a nuclear power. The idea of United States being the world’s sole super-power, something that smacks of the concept of “American exceptionalism”, is an idea that makes him gag. He detests it. In his view, and that of his fellow leftists, the only way in which America is exceptional is in how racist, sexist and imperialistic she has been. It’s time to cut her down to size by elevating her enemies. It’s not a coincidence that he’s been so eager to French-kiss Cuba’s murderous Castro brothers, or capitulate to guys who host “Death to America” flag burning parties on a regular basis.

You no doubt remember when a little over a year ago Obama traded a deserter, Bowe Bergdahl, for five Taliban leaders, an “achievement” that he celebrated with a cringe-inducing Rose Garden ceremony featuring Bergdahl’s pony-tailed, Arabic-spewing hippie father. Now, as part of this Iran deal, he has granted amnesty to what the Telegraph. U.K calls “one of the world’s leading terrorist masterminds,” Qassem Suleimani. Their Defense Editor Con Coughlin writes:

Qassem Suleimani, the head of the elite Quds Force in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, fully deserves his reputation as one of the world’s leading terrorist masterminds.

For a decade a more he has been the driving force behind an array of Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups, from Hizbollah to Hamas, which have orchestrated a reign of terror throughout the Middle East.

From a purely British perspective, he was responsible for training and equipping the Shia militias in southern Iraq who killed scores of British troops during the dark days of Iraq’s sectarian conflict following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and was reported to have trained the Taliban in the art of making deadly roadside bombs that killed and mutilated our Service personnel serving in southern Afghanistan.

So you can imagine my amazement when, leafing through the more obscure annexes of President Barack Obama’s “historic” deal with Iran (page 86 of the annex, to be precise), I found that Mr Suliemani – as the White House no doubt now refers to him – has been granted an amnesty and taken off the list of proscribed Iranians – together with a number of senior members of the Revolutionary Guards.

We know how much the Obama Regime loves amnesty, after all. Of course, Petulant Barry made an appearance in his July 15 news conference, when Major Garrett had the effrontery to ask the One about the four Americans still being held hostage in Iran. Garrett asked “Can you tell the country, sir, why you are content, with all the fanfare around this deal, to leave the conscience of this nation, the strength of this nation, unaccounted for in relationship to these four Americans?” Yes, the Iranians declared that their captivity was not part of the discussions of this deal, and John Kerry, taking his orders from Barack Obama, said “Of course not. That’s not related. It’s off the table.”

In case you missed it, Barack did not answer the question about why he was so comfortable with the decision to leave four Americans behind, instead choosing to go full Alinsky on Mr. Garrett, scolding him by saying “you should know better.”

Speaking of knowing better, you have to wonder how the low-information, emotionally-driven fools who voted for this guy when every single destructive and dangerous thing he has done was completely predictable even before he entered the U.S. Senate, many of whom were no doubt well-intentioned, will feel if and when their children and grandchildren end up fighting World War III, thanks to this man’s terrible ideologically-driven policies. Let’s hope and pray no young Americans have to pay the price for his wrong-headed ideas.
