WATCH: Sharpton Put On Blast After Saying ‘Puerto Ricans Will Get Deported’ by Trump

The good reverend Al Sharpton is afraid that his Brooklyn friends from Puerto Rico may be deported if their parents are undocumented. However, ALL Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens, whether born here, or abroad.

Until the recent Powerball debacle, many people didn’t even know the status of Puerto Ricans. In fact someone once said to me, “Get out of MY country, cross the border back to Puerto Rico, you damn immigrant.” I found that terribly humorous because Puerto Rico is surrounded by water, doesn’t border the U.S., and is very, very far away. Not to mention that whole thing about me already being a citizen.

So this right here is an education for those folks as well.
