If We Want to Save the Economy, Then We NEED To Dump the Fed and IRS

As our nation plunges deeper into debt in the midst of the presidential election, the best solution would be to restructure the federal government by means of privatizing, consolidating, transferring, and eliminating various government departments, agencies, etc.

In previous articles, I have advocated eliminating the Department of Education and the Department of Energy, as well as all the czars, a few federal courts, and several Independent Agencies, Boards, Commissions, etc.

But there are two entities within the federal government that definitely need to be eliminated if the American economy is to be saved, and they are the Federal Reserve System and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Numerous attempts to reform these two entities have been unsuccessful, either due to people’s being afraid of them or because these entities have a significant amount of support in Congress. But both the Federal Reserve and the IRS need to go, and here are the reasons why.

First, I will discuss the Federal Reserve System, which by the way is not even federal. Instead, it is a group of twelve federal banks which in turn are actually private corporations whose stock is owned by private banks, not the federal government. Thus, it is a quasi-government entity. The Department of Treasury pays the Federal Reserve (a.k.a. the Fed) interest on bills, bonds, and notes for which the Federal Reserve buys with money created out of nowhere. With little or no oversight from Congress, the Fed is pretty much free to do what it wants. Examples include manipulation of currency, economic downturns (e.g. the Great Depression), wars, and assassinations. Other entities involved in such manipulation of the American economy (and the World economy for that matter) include the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Thus, they need to go as well.

Then, there is the IRS, whose actions infringe upon people’s rights (e.g. during an audit, it presumes the individual in question to be guilty until proven innocent, according to an article written by Chuck Norris). In addition, they are perhaps the most nit-picking bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., whether it be carrying out an audit or helping to enforce Obamacare. Chuck Norris goes on to say that the IRS and the income tax can be done away with, and replaced with a fair tax.

So let’s get rid of the Fed and the IRS, thus saving the economy.
