MEXICO CONTROLS Their Southern Border — So, Why Shouldn’t America Control Theirs?

So how about that Programma Sur Fronterra?
What, never heard of it? Why not?
Is it because a decade-plus now of unfettered liberal gobbledygook have normalized the idea that borders are options, and who are we to judge who crosses them or whether those arbitrary lines that define nations have meaning in the first place.
Interestingly, that gobbledygook is uniquely confined to the borders of one nation state, that nation state being the United States. Mexico, by contrast (and like every other country on God’s Green Gaia), gives a damn about their borders.
That’s what Programma Sur Fronterra is all about. You haven’t heard about it because its very existence conflicts with the whole free-to-be-you-and-me-hug-a-tree global narrative so rampant among today’s liberals in America. From The View to Morning Joe to Colbert to Anderson Cooper, you are supposed to think that around the globe people of color are uniting in borderless unanimity while crotchety old-and-white Americans are bitterly clinging to their guns, religion, and passports.
That idea is crap.
Mexico is embarking on a serious, concerted effort to secure her southern border with Guatemala and stem the tide of illegals entering their country. Mexico is deporting those that cross the border from Guatemala illegally. They are putting repeat offenders in Mexican prison too, and requiring they pay stiff fines for violating the integrity of the United Mexican States (that’s Mexico’s formal name). Arrive in Mexico contrary to the dictates of Mexican immigration and you might end up spending a year or more in prison before being bused back to Guatemala.
Programma Sur Fronterra? Mexico’s “Southern Border Program” gives Mexican immigration teeth to combat the tide of illegals entering from Central America, whether the ambitions of illegals are to make it in Mexico or eventually find their way to the United States and send remittance payments home.
If Mexico, in this who-are-we-to-judge postmodern intellectual miasma, can do a southern border program, why can’t we?
