This Arrogant Anti-Brexit Writer Makes His Elitist Feelings Known

I was shocked by remarks in a recent email from author and CNBC economic analyst Boris Schlossberg:

I really have no more words for the stupidity of Brexit. Never mind that it was the win of the illiterate and least productive over the strivers and the achievers in the society. Never mind that it was the selfish act of the elderly to rob the young of their future and earning potential while mooching off the very welfare state that those young are supposed to uphold. Never mind that in the already horrid hooliganism caught on video you can begin to see exactly how Nazi Germany was born.

Such arrogance!

People don’t want to be ruled by some far-off bureaucracy. They do not want a flood of culturally incompatible aliens imposed on their society.

The EU started as an economic union to foster commerce and trade. However, over time, Brussels seized control of the currency, and has grown into a quasi-autocracy governing other aspects of national sovereignty.

Hitler had similar ideas. The EU should return to an economic association of independent states and get out of the cultural-management business. The notion of centrally controlled Globalism has never been successful. Many autocrats have tried to impose it and have failed.

The author of this article should get his nose out of the air and study a little history like the rest of us dumb folks.

Share if you agree these comments are a good example of the kind of elitist arrogance which caused people to support Brexit.
