Where Were the Islamic Burkas During America’s Founding?

Every year we all have our traditional “Fourth of July” activities and festivities that we look forward to. We spend time at lake houses, barbecues, pool parties, parades, and festivals with family and friends. Most Americans can’t even imagine not doing something special on this day and it is so easy to go through the motions and not think about why we celebrate our independence and what were we freed from? This year was a bit more surreal for me because I couldn’t help thinking about the very real possibility that some day future generations won’t even know how exceptional America once was. I wonder how many from my generation even do? Do most Americans know that we were freed from tyranny and Christianity was the foundation of those freedoms? We fought for our God-given freedoms and now slowly, but surely, we are allowing them to be stripped away. The Bible was literally taught in our public schools for 150 years and now it isn’t allowed, but just about anything else is just fine.

Now I see more and more people in America walking around covered in Islamic attire. Islam is one of the most tyrannical and straight up frightening religions practiced today and we are afraid to get rid of it or at least contain it. We think encouraging it in America makes us smart and nice?! It truly makes us foolish and shows our ignorance of our founding, Christianity and Islam. The population of America is changing so rapidly that it’s scary.

I couldn’t help looking around me at the parade and festival I attended and thinking; I don’t see one person here in Islamic attire. On any other normal day in the area I was in, there would be plenty of women sporting the burka freely. They are enjoying the same freedoms that every law-abiding America citizen shares. Every ethnic group in America came from some another country at some point, and it was easy to see the diversity of Americans celebrating freedom from tyranny… Yet I saw no obvious Muslims. I saw exactly zero burkas. I just wonder how many did anyone see?

Doesn’t this make you just a bit curious? Why wouldn’t a Muslim want to celebrate Independence Day in the country they came to? Most people love the country they are born in and want to make it the best possible place to live, yet Muslim country after Muslim country turns into or stays a third world country. Citizens are looking for a way to flee, yet when they come here, they seem to have no intentions of becoming American and participating in our way of life. You would just think the minute they tasted American freedom they’d want to get rid of that attire that isn’t mandatory to wear in America on a 90-degree day.

I don’t recall hearing about mass shootings, bombings, suicide bombers or planes running into buildings, yet my children hear about this terrorism so much that I think they are getting “dumbed down” to it. My triplets are 15 and this stuff doesn’t seem to faze them anymore. They ask things like, “Where did it happen today?” This should raise our eyebrows just a little bit.

Every time I see a sticker or something sporting the co-exist symbol I want to scream. I think it is quite obvious if we all reflect for a moment on this past Independence Day that folks that practice Islam have no desire to celebrate America. Either they can’t celebrate it or don’t want to. I have no problem with anyone coming legally to America to better themselves and my country with their presence, but I don’t believe that this group wants to do that. Many will say, what about the “peaceful Muslims”? I didn’t see them celebrating either or helping us stop the terror. It just isn’t happening and it’s obvious. Shouldn’t we ask ourselves why?

How is it possible for us to co-exist with a group of people that literally want to harm us and/or change America into a Muslim country? It says so in their Holy Book and we refuse to believe them. Muslims that want to leave the Islamic ideology behind are not a threat, but it seems most don’t. Islam is not compatible with American culture. It is about as tyrannical as you can get. Either convert to Islam or die is exactly the bottom line in their “holy book”. Anyone that wants to live in a different country other than their own understands that they must adapt to the culture of the country. Why is this not so with Islam? This religion is truly one of the biggest threats to America and we let it fester, grow and take root on our soil. It drives me insane when I know that with a little bit of education, this whole thing can be turned around. We can literally crush it and contain it in the countries that want it, but yet we choose to continue to embrace it? Americans ignorantly believe they can love evil away. When will we learn?
