Now that Hillary Clinton’s been given what may be the ultimate pass, it’s time to ask some of her biggest supporters what they think about it. No, I’m not referring to the mainstream media. Their take on the whole thing is summed up in Dana Millbank’s recent and vacuous Washington Post Op-Ed. In it, Millbank initiates the left’s predictable demonization of anyone who would question James Comey – “unreasonable” will be the dog whistle the left will use whenever Hillary’s exoneration is questioned. Because it’s perfectly reasonable to outline for ten minutes everything criminal about someone’s behavior and then say that since she didn’t mean it she’s innocent – try that next time you get pulled over and see what happens.
I’m referring to an activist outfit that Hillary once met with behind closed doors – kind of like how Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch behind closed doors. I’m referring to those violent, opportunist leukophobes popularly known as BlackLivesMatter.
So BlackLivesMatter, what if Hillary Clinton was black? Would James Comey have let her off?
By black, I mean authentically black. Not the kind of black that happens when your mom is a typical white person named Stanley Dunham who eventually becomes a highly compensated executive at a leading Hawaii bank despite your attempts to rebrand her as a poor single mother. We’re talking black. Travyon Martin black. Eric Garner black. Freddie Gray black. Gentle giant black. The kind of black #BlackLivesMatter says is victimized constantly by a thoroughly repressive system of white privilege.
If we look at things as a tale of two Bills, the Bill named Cosby faces real criminal sanction for a career spent serially abusing women. Billy Blythe – that’s his Hope, Arkansas name; he goes by Bill Clinton these days – faces what for a career spent serially abusing women?
BOOM! That’s right, Bill Clinton got off just like Hillary did and guess what? They are both as white as the freshly fallen snow.
It’s a valid question BlackLivesMatter ought to answer: if Hillary was black where would she be right now? Headed to trial, or on the receiving end of your political support?
