Michelle Obama’s daughters followed their mother’s stylish footsteps as all three ended their visit to Spain Friday. Sasha, 15, and Malia, 17, looked chic in black dresses while boarding their private plane with their mother and grandmother.
The First Lady, her two daughters and her mother Marian Robinson flew out of the Torrejon airbase, near Madrid, to head back to Washington, DC on Friday.
Malia, 17, opted for an A-line little black dress, whilst her younger sister chose a boho black sundress for the trip home. Their mother chose a black and white dress with a graphic print.
The family traveled to Liberia, Morocco and Spain this week to promote girls’ education in poorer countries and raise awareness of gender inequalities as part of the Let Girls Learn initiative.
US ambassador to Spain James Costos and his partner Michael Smith came to the airbase Friday to bid the First Lady and her family goodbye on the tarmac.
Sasha and Malia also put on a strong sartorial display when they stepped out with their mother to visit an exhibition at the Prado museum in Madrid on Thursday night.
Malia, 17, looked fashion-forward in an off-the-shoulder black top and a flowing floral skirt. She completed her look with black block heeled sandals, a trendy choker necklace and wore her hair in a poker straight style.
