Unfortunately, the only people with the incentive to change things are those in the top 15% of the income brackets or those with tremendous morals, work ethic, self-worth and dignity.
When you take away the incentive to work hard and strive to reach the top, you kill Capitalism. When a nation has failed to emphasize personal freedoms and what that actually means, you kill Capitalism. When people think equality means equal results for all, you kill Capitalism.
These seem like basic principles to many who’ve been materially blessed in so many ways. It’s probably a hard pill to swallow for the guy who grew up poor and tries his best to get to the top but can’t catch that break. That guy grows very tired and resentful. It takes an awful lot of grit to work through that and remain true to these ideals.
Nobody understands this better than the far Left; and nobody has ever capitalized on it better than the far Left. Their number one goal is to sow seeds of resentment — be it through class, skin color, religion or sexuality.
It’s cheap, but it’s very easy to do.
