WTF: Joe Biden, ‘Bill Clinton’s PAST Shouldn’t Matter’ (But Trump’s Should?!)

Published on October 15, 2016

Straight from their playbook. Democrats can apologize their way out of any situation they can’t squirm out of. Republicans are guilty forever.

Watch Biden explain it away:

CHUCK TODD: As you know, Donald Trump is bringing up everything Bill Clinton– right now. Should that matter?

VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: No, it shouldn’t matter. Look, I can’t make any excuse for Bill Clinton’s conduct. I– I– I– and I wouldn’t attempt to make any excuses for the conduct. But he paid a price for it. He paid a price. He was impeached. And he was– he expressed his deep sorrow and acknowledged what he did. This guy, as I said, has acknowledged that he has been a sexual predator. He’s acknowledged that he’s abused his power. And the– as I said, the textbook definition of what constitutes sexual assault.

It isn’t just Biden. If a quick search of that phrase online is any indication — even filtering out Biden’s name — this phrase is popping up everywhere.

There has been a conscious decision somewhere to rehabilitate Bill. It’s their strategy.

So take it with a grain of salt.

As for having paid the price, as Biden argues, that’s a tough argument to make as the Clintons near another term at the pinnacle of American political power, and after earning over a hundred million dollars while manipulating it. And American voters have a funny way of deciding for themselves what matters in elections — a lesson both sides ought to remember. —Hot Air

Bill Clinton, who hobnobbed with movers and shakers, and parlayed his political position into millions of dollars in personal wealth actually paid NO price for this. He didn’t NEED his lawyers’ credentials anymore. He’d already traded up for political connections. And they’ve served him very well, thank you very much.

If you want to know what ‘paid a price’ looks like, see Chuck Colson.

Busted for connections to the Nixon affair, he went from the White House to the Big House. While there, he took stock of his life and exchanged his power broker life for one of service. He founded a prison ministry.

He took the hard life lesson took OWNERSHIP of his wrongdoing, and translated it into a fresh start in life.

Bill Clinton has never changed. He’s still the same Bill he always was.

If there were no blue dress, he’d have destroyed Monica, and gotten off scot free. It almost happened anyway, with his media bodyguards. If it weren’t for Drudge, that story would have been swept under the rug.

But the same people that insist a kiss from Trump is assault are lining up to dismiss their hero.

Hardly surprising, really. We remember them doing the same thing with Roman Polanski.
