DEAR LIBERALS: Heroin Deaths Surpass Gun Homicides In The US – Time To BAN Heroin!

Published on December 11, 2016

Hey, Obama – will you shed another staged tear for THIS problem? Life expectancy is actually DOWN for the first time since 1993.

Opioid deaths continued to surge in 2015, surpassing 30,000 for the first time in recent history, according to CDC data released Thursday.

That marks an increase of nearly 5,000 deaths from 2014. Deaths involving powerful synthetic opiates, like fentanyl, rose by nearly 75 percent from 2014 to 2015.

…In the CDC’s opioid death data, deaths may involve more than one individual drug category, so numbers in the chart above aren’t mutually exclusive. Many opioid fatalities involve a combination of drugs, often multiple types of opioids, or opioids in conjunction with other sedative substances like alcohol.

In a grim milestone, more people died from heroin-related causes than from gun homicides in 2015. As recently as 2007, gun homicides outnumbered heroin deaths by more than 5 to 1. —Washington Post

Are there any clues to what is going on here? A spike in HEROIN?

Let’s take a quick look at where in the world heroin originates.

Hmmmm… any clues here? Are there any nearby countries with easy access to the US that could possibly be part of the problem?

What about the law and order side of the ledger? Have there been any recent changes on how we treat drug smuggling?

… besides the stubborn refusal to enforce border security?

Let’s see, would massive increases in paroles count?

The Obama administration is seeking to significantly boost the number of staffers in the Department of Justice’s pardon office, leading some to speculate that the president is getting set for an end-of-administration effort to grant clemency to a range of criminals.

The Justice Department recently posted on its website a job listing seeking 16 lawyers for new spots in its Office of the Pardon Attorney, which codifies petitions for clemency and makes recommendations to the attorney general for clemency.

The new lawyers will assist “the President in the exercise of executive clemency,” according to the job description.

…The Justice Department has been working for more than a year now on a new clemency initiative that outside organizations predict could free up to 20,000 convicted inmates from federal prisons — FreeBeacon

Heroin addiction on the increase. If this happened under Dubya… we’d never hear the end of it. It would be a national disgrace and all HIS fault.

In that case… we can safely say this –as much as unending war, and his broken healthcare system — is TRULY part of Obama’s legacy.

Share if you KNOW this would be ‘a big deal’ if Obama were Republican.
