The United Nations came into existence on October 24th, 1945, with the purpose of promoting international cooperation and world peace. Unfortunately, over the years it has allowed Muslim-controlled countries to turn it into an organization dedicated to the eradication of the state of Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. The UN has definitely not fulfilled its original goals and has instead become a group which promotes terrorists, and devotes much of its time, effort, and funds in achieving “a one world order”. It does not promote cooperation or respect the sovereignty of each nation.
The United States pays 22% of the UN’s annual cost, which amounts to over a billion dollars, and we are not getting our money’s worth. Many problems are evident, which include ongoing corruption, mismanagement, bribes, and a variety of other infamous activities. It has become a bloated bureaucracy which started with 1500 employees and now has 50,000 throughout the world. There is no accountability and fraud, waste, and abuse of resources is obvious.
Since the UN has shown its malice toward Israel and is hell-bent on destroying the Jewish state, it has chastised Israel three times as often as all other countries combined. There have been, and are, numerous and constant resolutions against Israel in a variety of areas. The very countries that have been the accusers of human rights violations are the ones who are really guilty, yet there have been no complaints lodged against them. How can they ignore the lack of human rights in North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and a variety of others? What hypocrites! They pass anti-Israeli resolutions against a country with an equal and open society.
Last week, the Security Council passed Resolution 2334, which declared Israeli rule illegal in east Jerusalem and settlements built on the West Bank. They claim it is not Israeli but Palestinian territory. Many of these areas proclaimed “illegal” contain sites which are holy to both Christians and Jews. This IS Israeli land and the UN has no business making any decisions regarding it. For the first time, the United States abstained instead of vetoing this resolution. This shows Barack Hussein Obama’s true colors. He is anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, and pro-Muslim. His dislike for our Judeo-Christian tradition is so obvious that one must wonder how a man can be the President of the United States and hate this country so much? Here’s an easy answer…he wants to take this country down and does not care about its people. He is a Socialist ideologue, who almost DID bring America down.
As for the UN, it does nothing to promote peace and prosperity world-wide. It is a drain on our resources and the United States of America should get out of the UN and get the UN out of the United States of America. Recently, and following the election of Donald Trump, the voices calling for us to leave the United Nations have become louder. One of the quickest ways, as suggested, to get the UN out of the US would be to defund it ASAP and see how long it takes for them to find another place in the world where they can operate as they have been doing. They are a destructive force and we need them out of America. The sooner, the better.
