What are they fighting for?
The norm through history is for the people to fight against their political oppressors, i.e., those scoundrels who would rob them of their God-given freedom and dignity.
This generation of Americans has largely departed from the norm and that doesn’t speak well of us. For all the talk about self-esteem over the past three decades, we are now up to our ears in “adults” whose confidence is so low they don’t even want to attempt the challenges of life without Daddy Government. “Take care of my health care. Take care of my retirement savings. Take care of my education.” Leftism is nothing if it isn’t childish.
I dare guess that never in the history of the world have so many fought so hard to have others rule over them.
