CLASH POLL: Pathetic Traitor & Genetic Male Bradley Manning Walks From Prison – Is This BS Or What?
Here’s ONE aspect of the Obama legacy that won’t easily be erased — a traitor goes free today.
Let’s recap a little bit about the person who’s just been released —
Bradley Manning has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for passing hundreds of thousands of classified military documents to WikiLeaks.
The sentence was more severe than many observers expected, and is much longer than any punishment given to any previous US government leaker.
The 25-year-old soldier was convicted last month of leaking more than 700,000 classified documents and video. The disclosures amounted to the biggest leak in US military history.
He was found guilty of 20 counts, six of them under the Espionage Act, but was acquitted of the most serious charge of “aiding the enemy”. —Guardian
And Obama cut his sentence short. Not setting him free on while he was still in office. No, set him free under Trump’s watch. A little stick in the eye for the new guy.
Was Obama hoping that the media would leverage this into a hit piece on Trump over transsexuals, or women’s rights, or leaks? Or did he just want to minimize any criticism while basking in his final days in office? Who knows?
Interestingly, it was the day AFTER sentencing that Bradley made the announcement about being transsexual.
Manning gets a gold star for knowing how to play the system.
Instead of spending 30-some-odd years in prison, he gets set free after less than five. He’s still young enough to re-enter life.
It just so happened that Obama has little, if any, loyalty to America and rule of law AND Obama has a soft spot for virtue-signaling with anything that runs counter to gender norms.
“I feel very comfortable that justice has been served and that a message has still been sent that when it comes to our national security,” Obama said today, “that wherever possible, we need folks who may have legitimate concerns about the actions of government or their superiors or the agencies in which they work that they try to work through the established channels.”
“Chelsea Manning has served a tough prison sentence,” Obama said. “So the notion that the average person who was thinking about disclosing vital classified information would think that it goes unpunished — I don’t think would get that impression from the sentence that Chelsea Manning has served.” —Obama
He’ll probably land on his feet as a minor leftist celebrity and sell his book rights for big dollars. Because he wears a dress.
Leaking THOUSANDS of militry secrets is bad. But he’s a transsexual, so — nevermind. Just a slap on that delicate wrist for you, Brad.
Oh is it ‘bad’ that we won’t call Bradley a chick? We’re just deferring to the science.
