It’s no secret that Rupert Murdoch’s sons James and Lachlan are keen to change the direction of Fox News. Is Hannity the next one on the chopping block?
Sean Hannity has been reporting on the Seth Rich murder and he’s being accused of being a ‘conspiracy theorist’. The continuing reports on connections to WikiLeaks is upsetting the family of Seth Rich, and they have said so publicly.
Hannity’s opening last night:
“Out of respect for the family’s wishes for now, I am not discussing this matter at this time,” Hannity said near the top of his 10:00 a.m. ET program.
The host changed the subject, instead continuing his criticism of media outlets for covering the Trump-Russia investigation, calling it hypocritical since no evidence has linked the two.
Later in the opening monologue, Hannity appeared to indicate that he may visit Rich stories again “at the proper time.”
“Please do not interpret what I’m saying tonight to mean anything,” he said. “Don’t read into this. I promise you, I am not going to stop doing my job. To the extent to my ability, I am not going to stop trying to find the trust.”
“That effort is not stopping in any way, shape, matter and form,” he continued. “I am continuing the work I promised to do for you. And at the proper time, we shall continue and talk a lot more.”
The Media (D) has been pushing the Russia narrative — just as Sean said — despite any evidence.
ClashDaily has reported on the rampant Media (D) bias against President Trump:
But they’re ok with that.
It’s Sean Hannity discussing a very fishy murder that seemed to have some strange WikiLeaks connections and a private investigator saying that there is actual evidence pointing to that — before recanting. As well as an internet celebrity claiming firsthand knowledge that Rich was a WikiLeaks informant.
He’s the problem.
For following the leads.
The popular host is now in the crosshairs of Media Matters which has shared with their 300,000 distribution list, Hannity’s advertisers for boycotts and external pressure.
The last target of the group was ousted King of Primetime, Bill O’Reilly.
“As for my job here at the Fox News Channel, there is an effort now abound to silence me. Media Matters is now attacking my advertising base,” he explained. “That is what we have called on this program ‘liberal fascim,’ attack, boycott, all in an effort to silence conservatives.”
Hannity’s statement comes after he was the subject of criticism for covering Rich.
Hannity addresses the elephant in the room:
“I serve at the pleasure of the Fox News Channel,” Hannity concluded. “And I am here to my job every night, I’m under contract, as long as they seem to want me.”

Is that a tacit indicator that he’s heading out.
