Let’s understand a few things…
For beginners, all of the Black Lives Matter people should understand something. Islam is not their friend. Never has been and never will be. In Arabic the one word for “slave” is the same as for “black”, so what does that tell you? People sometimes put their efforts to backing the wrong team, and end up with nothing. One theory put forth is that George Soros is behind the BLM people and, while I don’t doubt that for a second, it hasn’t been proven. It, the proof, is what’s needed to get done what needs to be done with that group. The various protests that have occurred since Trump’s inauguration also have me puzzled somewhat. Some reporters have interviewed people protesting and discovered that a lot of them have no idea why, or for what, they’re protesting. Understanding why they’re in the streets could solve a lot of problems that they stupidly believe need solving.
Dr. Gregory Thatcher, of Fresno State University, recently said, captured on video, that one must be in “the free speech area” in order to exercise the First Amendment which deals with free speech. That amendment says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. “ Would somebody please tell me where, in that Amendment, it says you have to have a certain place that is designated as a free speech area? With the exception of that ridiculous example of yelling “Fire” in a crowded theatre, it seems to me that everything else is wide open. Of course, one must be prepared to take the consequences of free speech if their speech is “offensive” …as so much of it is these days. I only spent a very short time in college, but it was long enough to understand that it was the place to express a difference of opinion, and attempt to back it up with words.
This aberration, the denial of free speech is not confined to one isolated campus. No, it’s spread all over the country. Professor Tommy Curry of Texas A&M University is also on the wrong side of common sense. Curry teaches “Radical Black Philosophies” and “Social and Political Philosophy”, and while I don’t pretend to understand all of what he says, it IS clear that he is advocating some sort of breakdown between the races. Curry should be of an age where he could remember the terrible conditions under which black people lived before the Civil Rights Act was made into law. He should remember the horrors that took place simply because of a person’s skin color. He sounds like he might be a 1960’s White Power advocate, except that he’s black and talking about killing white people. In a YouTube interview, he said that the murder of white people may be necessary for “black liberation”. Further, he suggests that white people need to fear blacks so much that they believe “death could come for them at any moment.” Maybe at this point I could drop a thought in here…if a race war came, it could be very bloody, but it would be short, and blacks would lose. Simple mathematics tells you that if your enemy outnumbers you about 10 to 1, there’s a very good chance you’re going to lose.
Someone sent this quote to me, and I must confess that I’d never heard of the man. “In 100 years we have gone from teaching Latin and Greek in High School to teaching remedial English in college. “ That’s by Joseph Sobran, who died in 2010. He was a senior editor at the National Review for many years. If you think about that quote for more than a few seconds you are liable to become quite angry because it concisely illustrates the almost complete dumbing-down of American children in schools…at almost every level from kindergarten to college. ThereIS a reason for the American school children, at every level, to be doing worse than many other countries, and that is because we’ve been content to raise myrmidons for several generations. Of course that’s my opinion only, but it seems to be shared with several people of much higher education than mine.
Parting shot: Another of my readers wrote to tell me that “the election is over” and why am I still harping about the former President? The answer to that question is simple…because the former President has stuck his nose into business that doesn’t concern him, following the eight years of his reign; and I use that term because he very much acted like, and really wanted to be, a king. He is now in a house about two miles from the White House, has a cadre, and is battling the current President on just about everything. The former occupant of the White House tried, and almost succeeded, to bring down the United States and create a third-world country with overly-harsh regulations and Executive Orders. He said that he wanted to “fundamentally transform America” and never told us into what. It was, and is, clear to me that he is a closet Muslim, and that if he were to continue to run this country he would have destroyed it.
