This is unbelievable — and it was caught on someone’s cell phone.
Two bounty hunters and a fugitive were killed in a gunfight at in a Nissan dealership in Greenville, Texas.
The fugitive, Ramon Hutchinson, was wanted for disarming a police officer and felony first-degree narcotics possession. He didn’t appear in court in Minnesota in March and forfeited a $50,000 bond.
Corpus Christi Bounty hunters Fidel Garcia Jr. and Gabriel Bernal were hired to bring Hutchinson in after a tip led fugitive recovery agents to believe he was in Texas.
Garcia and Bernal were tracking Hutchinson and had placed a tracking device on his car when they learned he was about to trade the car in.
They made their move at the Nissan dealership.
It ended in disaster.
Bounty hunters Fidel Garcia Jr. and Gabriel Bernal were killed along with fugitive Ramon Hutchinson when the three men got into a firefight at a car dealership in Greenville, Texas, on Tuesday.
The video, recorded by a bystander and obtained by the city of Greenville, shows Garcia and Bernal holding up their guns as they corner Hutchinson in a glassed in office on the showroom floor.
As the bounty hunters get closer to Hutchinson, the men start yelling at each other while a woman who was in the office yells ‘No!’.
Then there’s a quick succession of several shots as the person recording the video drops to the floor and flees the scene.
The trouble began when the two bounty hunters produced handcuffs and tried to take Hutchinson into custody at about 7.30pm.
Hutchinson pulled out a gun and bullets began to fly across the crowded dealership, smashing out plate glass windows.
When the dust settled, Hutchinson, Garcia and Bernal were dead, but fortunately nobody else was injured.
