Watch: AC/DC’s Lead Singer Explains Meaning Of ‘Highway To Hell’ – It’s Not What You Think

How well do you know your AC/DC lore? Would you like to hear it ‘straight from the horse’s mouth?’

Highway to Hell is one of those songs that, back in the day, really got people’s panties in a twist.

It’s the Devil’s music, they would say.

Maybe they should have asked the band themselves. They would have saved a whole generation a lot of hysterical nonsense.

On second thought, the publicity and the rebellion against such hysterical BS probably sold them a crap-ton of albums.

So, it all worked out in the end.

Here we have a clip of AC/DC band member Brian Johnson giving the real story about the Highway To Hell. Turns out, it’s a real place. Enjoy!

(BTW, check out what he’s driving in this clip. It’s flat-out amazing.)

Watch:

Turns out the rebels were on the right side of that issue all along, huh?
