To hear the Democrats, and Islam apologists like Linda Sarsour tell it, Islam wants to live at peace, and it’s only the (greed, oppression etc) of ‘big bad Israel’ that stand as an obstacle between Peace and their Arab neighbors.
Going by the text this IMAM was quoting, that is actually correct, but not in the way Westerners may think.

However, we hope that the words of the Prophet Muhammad will be fulfilled: Judgment Day will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Jews will hide behind the rocks and the trees, but the rocks and the trees will say: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him — except for the gharqad tree, which is one of the trees of the Jews.” — source: Times Of Israel
The ‘peace’ they are expecting will come with Israel is –as is affirmed by this Imam’s sermon — a bloody one.
Islam will have conquered all their other enemies except the Jews. And after that, they will turn their efforts to their final fight, and even the rocks and trees will betray them to the sword of their Muslim attackers.
Whether they mean this about trees and stones literally or figuratively, the phrase ‘here is a Jew, kill him’ does not leave much room for benign interpretations.
This ‘peace’ they are looking forward to is that of a conquering army standing triumphantly over a defeated foe. But don’t take our word for it, we’re infidels (kafir) after all. Here’s how a Muslim’s question was answered about that very verse. Yes, it’s just as violent. (Notice the tinge of ‘victimhood’ even in this explanation.)
So why does the hadith tell us here that we have to kill them, and why did the Muslims not do that previously? The correct understanding of that verse (as asked by one Muslim to another) is explained on their own page, here.
Ammar Shahin Is Egyptian-born, and preaches his seething hatred from the Islamic Center of Davis, in California.
Recently in the news, there was an attack by Palestinians on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It was deadly.
Since then, a family of three opened their door to a stranger during their Sabbath dinner, and three people inside were slaughtered in a gruesome and callous disregard for human life.
They were waiting for other guests to arrive, the door of their home at the settlement of Halamish apparently open.
Instead, a 19-year old Palestinian, Omar al-Abed, from a nearby village, burst in armed with a large knife and began stabbing the members of the family. There were apparently 10 people in the house when he entered.

These were the ongoing events that served as backdrop when Imam Ammar Shahin preached his message.
Not only did he preach on this passage, he went further than that.
If you read the text, you will see it says:
“Allah does not change the situation of people ‘until they change their own situation.’ The Prophet Muhammad said: ‘Judgment Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Jews hide behind stones and trees,’”
He is calling Muslims to Proactively seek this out.
He is calling Muslims to forget their Nationality and work as one Religio-political movement to accomplish this end.
This failure to distinguish political will and religious devotion is EXACTLY why religious freedom is viewed more cynically with Islam than, say with Sikhs, Buddhists, Taoists, Zoroastrians etc.
But the PRAYER he ended with was worse than the sermon. It was not in English. He was proactively calling for the death of Jews, and openly stating his willingness/desire to be part of this process.
The Al-Aqsa mosque, if you’re not sure, is the ‘Dome of the Rock’ in Jerusalem. The one with the Gold roof. Just like Islam conquered Constantinople and turned the largest and most significant Christian Cathedral (of that day, at minimum) and turned it into a trophy, a Muslim Holy site, they did the same in Jerusalem, where the Jewish Temple had stood. He begins a prayer in (presumably Arabic) which was translated by a service that does so, and the English translation is available on Conservative Revue.
Starting at the 1:33 mark, (of the translated piece) notice the prayer he prays:
Oh Allah, support the Al-Aqsa mosque and the rest of the Muslim lands…
Oh Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa mosque from the filth of the Jews…
Oh Allah, destroy those who closed the Al-Aqsa mosque…
Oh Allah, show us the black day that you inflict on them…
And the wonders of your ability…
Oh Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one…
Do not spare any of them…
Oh Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa mosque…
Oh Allah make this happen by our hands…
Let us play a part in this…
Oh Allah let us support them in words and deeds…
If that isn’t ‘incitement to violence’ or ‘support of terror’, what is?
Should this mosque be allowed to continue to operate?
The next time Linda Sarsour, Obama or some other Islam apologist tells you how ‘beautiful’ a religion Islam is, show them THIS man’s prayer.
