According to Michelle Obama, women must only vote for candidates that serve as their “voice”. Which is a fancy way of saying vaginas must vote for vaginas and only vaginas unless the vagina belongs to Sarah Palin or some other right of center woman.
What about being pro-choice?
I guess in Michelle’s world pro-choice stops at the ballot box. To paraphrase Madeline Not-that-Albright, there is a special place in hell for women willing to trash generations of feminism and surrender their vote to their gender. Or any gender, for that matter, of the fifty-eight one can pick and choose from today.
There must also be a special place in hell for leftists – and even some on the right – that defend illegal immigration with that old line about jobs Americans just won’t do. One of my best friends immigrated legally to the United States from Asia. His first job in America was picking and pruning grapes in northern California. Or in other words, as a brand new American, he was doing jobs Americans supposedly weren’t willing to do. My friend eventually learned a trade and became very successful working in his chosen career field.
The left would have you believe that if my best friend arrived here illegally, it was essential to the success of our economy that he forever be stuck picking crops. Driving a cab. Washing dishes. Cleaning hotel rooms. Tending to gardens. * Because we need low paid workers to do those jobs in order to support the rest of us.
Isn’t slavery a bad thing, and what about the Fight for $15?
I guess the left is ok with a little soft core slavery going on if that means they get fresh arugula when they dine out in swanky DC establishments. I guess the Fight for $15 isn’t inclusive after all.
Recent NFL protests aren’t inclusive either. The NFL as a business, and as a gaggle of athletes, clearly has no idea what they are doing. They kneel. They don’t kneel. They link arms. They don’t link arms. They take the field. They don’t take the field. It is about the flag and anthem but it isn’t. It doesn’t speak well of higher education that a sport populated by so many college educated participants can’t decide how to get themselves out of a mess they themselves made.
Seems to me that if they wanted their protest to truly not be about the flag or anthem, and for it to have substantial impact, at some random point in the game both teams would take a knee in place on the field for a couple minutes. That would interrupt the game. That would generate all sorts of attention. Attention to what though? Not a single person that supports the NFL player’s protest has articulated what it is they are protesting, and how they would solve whatever problem upsets them.
These people that support the NFL-protest, just a few years ago were very much against the NFL. Remember the “news” items that popped up each year just before the Super Bowl? Stories about how NFL games turned men – and especially white men – into raging animals intent on bashing women’s faces in. Those stories told us the violence of football had a Jekyll and Hyde effect on men watching the Super Bowl. Someone, somewhere needed to do something to curb that violence in the name of women’s rights!
Interesting that these are the same people that today tell us the same NFL that drives men to beat women is the same virtuous NFL that stands up for…for…for…
For something. Why won’t they tell us what?
I know, I know. I’m asking too much. Ladies, get in line and vote for Kamala Harris in 2020 because she has a vagina that speaks as your voice. Everyone needs to turn a blind eye to the group hanging out at Home Depot every morning around 6:30 because it is imperative those people of color make their $50 a day. Heaven forbid we send them home and hire citizens to do the work at $15 an hour ($120 per day). Fellas, sit down and shut up and watch the football game. When they kneel for the anthem you kneel too, because the left is shoving our nation down on her knees the way a white guy watching the Super Bowl is doing around the 3rd quarter.
Or come to your senses, ladies and gentlemen.
