SHOCKER: ESPN Host Weighs In About Trump & Anthem Debate – Smith’s Buddies WON’T Like This
Even if there was contempt behind it, is he allowed to say that on ESPN airtime? Is he getting a ‘talking to’ for even suggesting this?
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, the Vice President walked out of the game when the protest happened.
He was pretty clear about his reasons, too.

He’s not ‘thwarting rights’ he’s calling for respect. And not even of himself or his office. Respect of all those men and women who have worn that flag on their shoulders. And respect of all those men and women who had a folded one presented to their next of kin.
But the sportscasters lean pretty far to the left. And they sympathize with the ‘Protest’.
But that doesn’t mean they’re blind.

Smith even used the word ‘hijacked’. As in: “what it really really comes down to is the president has successfully hijacked this issue. He’s turned it into an issue about patriotism and beyond…”
Yeah. A blind squirrel could have found that nut.
But we’re still not sure why the LEAGUE still hasn’t caught up to that.
Maybe if they had someone like this guy as a dad or grandpa, the league wouldn’t be quite so ‘dim’.
