CLASH POLL: Paisley & Underwood MOCK Trump – Should We Give ‘Em The ‘NFL Treatment?’

Lovely. Looks like President Trump can’t get a break even the CMAs. Is there a single awards show out there that he’s free from mockery?

I’m old enough to remember when most Country music stars were the sane celebrities.

They weren’t the elitists lecturing about policy.

They understood why it was important to carry a gun for self-defense.

They were hunters and outdoor folks who worked the blue collar jobs.

And if they didn’t do that themselves, they knew folks who did. They are their family, their neighbors, their friends.

And I recall that they were the ones that freely spoke about faith and patriotism.

But now, they’re jumping onto that anti-Trump bandwagon.

The Country Music Association Awards got very political very quickly when the hosts opened Wednesday night’s show by mocking President Donald Trump.

Country music superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood kicked off the 51s annual awards show by wearing eclipse sunglasses, poking fun at the commander-in-chief – who at one point looked at August’s solar eclipse without wearing eye protection.

The pair also sang an opening song with the lyrics ‘Maybe next time he’ll think before he tweets’, a play on Underwood’s hit song ‘Before He Cheats’.

Watch:

There were many responses on social media, some positive, some negative.

The problem with this mockery is that there is no place where the President isn’t belittled.

Sure, this might be considered ‘mild’ by some, but let’s face it — it’s one more drip in the deluge of anti-Trumpism that is dividing the country.

You’d think that Brad and Carrie would get that rather than go for the cheap laugh.

What do you think of it?

Is it fair or foul?

The NFL has politicized their game and insulted half the country. They’re paying for it with low ticket sales, lost revenue, and it’s affecting ESPN and other related businesses like Papa John’s.

Is it time to give Brad and Carrie a taste of that medicine?

Let us know what you think in the comments.

Maybe next year, Paisley and Underwood could wear matching shirts.

Buy it now!

Oh, yes, Ladies, you can wear this shirt. Get yours here.

This is definitely one of the most politically incorrect t-shirts to ever hit the market. It will most certainly offend the entitled whiners!

Keep Calm and Don’t Be a Pussy!

And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!

VETERAN OPERATED

Don’t forget to grab Doug’s latest volume of wit and wisdom:

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.

Share if you’d like to see one awards show not mock President Trump
