Veteran’s Day — Exactly What We Need After A Year of Division and Derision

It is very clear that the United States is in a divisive spiral. Fueled by politicians, the fake news, Hollywood and others, life has become a little worse every day.

It is always disappointing to find that those one once considered educated and informed subscribe to a liberal, uninformed, and perhaps immoral doctrine.

It’s not just politics and differences of opinion, the root cause has to be the fundamental struggle between good and evil.

The recent shooting in a Texas church by an obviously evil, malicious person with a laundry list of violent deeds, who claimed to be an atheist, is an example of Satan’s minions carrying out his evil plan to destroy.

That is Satan’s only plan, to lead to devastation. He may fancy it up with velvets, bows and bonbons, but it is a trap leading to destruction.

There are those who want to see the United States, a true Judeo-Christian country, whose motto is “In God We Trust”, eliminated.

They want to embrace socialism and communism, reject religion, live secular, depraved lifestyles and see the freedoms that founded this country wiped out.

These are the same people who want to revise history according to their purpose, tear down statues, and interpret long held traditions in a way that supports their rhetoric.

If a nation forgets its history, it is doomed to repeat it.

How must families have felt in 1860 in the United States?

Brothers were posed to fight on opposing sides, those who wanted to uphold the Union, ones who supported states’ rights and the Confederacy.

These differences of opinion tore families and neighbors apart.

Today there is no “agree to disagree”. There are no peaceful protests by concerned citizens holding signs and singing.

Today’s protests are highly politicized, intentionally antagonized and funded by nefarious sources. It is highly convenient that the “protest” in Charlottesville, VA was skewed by the media as a White Supremacy Rally and happened not long before the much publicized election for governor of Virginia. http://yournewswire.com/charlottesville-hillary-soros/

It is no coincidence that the mayor of Charlottesville is a Democrat and that the police were ordered to stand down and allow chaos to reign up to the point of losing a human life. http://thefreethoughtproject.com/confirmed-police-told-stand-charlottesville/

The mainstream media jumped on how awful it all was, blamed the President for “how he said” things and “how fast or slow” he reacted. All non- issues in the face of the tragic division among people and more importantly, the loss of life.

Tear down the statues, rewrite history, neglect to teach history in schools and sow hate. That is a formula for another civil war.

The first one devastated the country, cost the life of Abraham Lincoln and took a long time to heal the deep wounds of brother against brother and the destruction of the land.

It is time to stop ALLOWING evil to influence lives!

Yes, it is an active decision to allow what is wrong to govern a person’s life and choose the wrong path to destruction.

Saturday is Veteran’s Day. The day that is set aside to remember those who fought for all of the good and noble things about the United States.

Take a moment to focus on those who gave all. Be grateful that there are freedoms to live as one chooses. These freedoms were not free. Someone paid the price.

God Bless America!
