Islam’s PO’ed Over Trump & Jerusalem – Which Means Trump Did The Right Thing

Three guesses what ‘diplomatic channels’ they expressed their objections through, too.
Critics and fans alike have to agree on this: President Trump just made history.
Israel’s US ambassador (Ron Dermer) himself has said so, calling Trump a ‘Maccabee Today’. In case you were wondering, that’s ramping the praise up about as high as it will go.
In fact, President Netanyahu released a video response to Trump’s announcement.
This is a historic day. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for nearly 70 years. Jerusalem has been the focus of our hopes, our dreams, our prayers for three millennia. Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for 3,000 years. Thank you, @realDonaldTrump! 🇮🇱🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/mWCUpUMpiC

But, obviously, not everyone loved the announcement. Especially those whose stated purpose is the absolute destruction of Israel.
Here’s a headline from Al-Jazeera:
Palestinians call ‘days of rage’ over US Jerusalem move
What exactly is a ‘day of rage’?
“Right now what we are asking for, we are asking the Palestinian Authority and the President Mahmoud Abbas to stop all the peace negotiations with the Israelis,” said one protester
As more Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza both secular and Islamist factions have called for a general strike and rallies to protest at the Trump decision.

It almost sounds benign, doesn’t it? Something like Antifa busting up the place on a typical Saturday night in Portland or Berkeley, right? Not exactly.
On the edge of the Palestinian city of Ramallah, Israeli forces fired dozens of rounds of tear gas and stun grenades at hundreds of Palestinian protesters gathering to air their anger over Trump’s statement.
“This will be bad,” said an ambulance driver as young men burned tires and pelted the soldiers with stones. Emergency vehicles ferried out the injured, with casualties reported on both sides. Thick black smoke and tear gas choked the air.

(Of course, it should be noted that Al Jazeera is quite aware of the international readership of their English edition articles. And the possibility of deliberate misinformation is always a consideration.)
How does the leader of Hamas characterize this same day of rage? You’d almost miss it, tucked in the middle of a BBC article on the various local Arab reactions to the announcement.
The leader of Hamas, which dominates the Gaza Strip, has called for a “day of rage” on Friday and said it should “be the first day of the intifada against the occupier”.
“We have given instructions to all Hamas members and to all its wings to be fully ready for any new instructions or orders that may be given to confront this strategic danger,” Ismail Haniya said in a speech in Gaza.

Emphasis was added.
Intifada. Remember THAT term?
It’s BA-ACK!
Less than an hour ago, we saw this on Reuters:
Israeli siren app says rockets fired at Israel near Gaza Strip
ISIS. This radical terrorist organization is a virus… a worldwide plague. These a$$holes are willing to kill their own women and children to annihilate who they call “infidels.”
Well, here’s a shirt that sums it perfectly. F**K ISIS.
And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!
