While the Right cheers the ‘devil-may-care’ courage of Nikki Haley on the World Stage, the Left cranked up the gossip mill.
The ‘mean girls’ on the journalistic left (no, we don’t just mean the ladies) love to attack strong Conservative woman — not on substance, but by either with shaming their looks, or throwing doubt on their fitness for the office.
How often have you heard charges of tokenism, or attacks on Kelly Conway for putting her feet on the White House furniture like she did in this photo…
… oh, wait, that was someone else.
But the most insidious attack — especially from the LEFT, who might do well to look at their own history of casting couches and disgraced heroes like Matt Lauer / Charlie Rose / Senator Menendez — is that successful women slept their way to the top.
For a party that supposedly defends women against misogyny that’s pretty outrageous.
Nikki Haley is the latest one to receive this slander.
Haley has been at the center of a Washington parlor game over who Wolff was hinting the president was ‘f***ing’ after he made the explosive claim on an HBO program that the president is currently having an affair.
The former South Carolina governor said during a Politico podcast interview that the rumor, which the author freely fed last week, is ‘highly offensive’ and ‘disgusting.’
‘It is absolutely not true,’ she fumed.
Wolff said during a taping last week of ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ that he omitted an episode from his bombshell-laden book despite being ‘absolutely sure’ it was true.
‘It was so incendiary that I just didn’t have the ultimate proof,’ Wolff explained, later adding that he ‘didn’t have the “blue dress”.’
…’You just have to read between the lines,’ Wolff told Maher. ‘It’s toward the end of the book. You’ll know it. Now that I’ve told you, when you hit that paragraph you’re going to say, “Bingo”.’
Maher asked if the hint was about ‘somebody [Trump’s] f***ing now.’
‘It is,’ Wolff responded.
…’He says that I’ve been talking a lot with the president in the Oval [Office] about my political future. I’ve never talked once to the president about my future and I am never alone with him,’ Haley said.
Wolff’s insinuation, she suggested, is a symptom of the sexist atmosphere successful women endure when they have to dismiss accusations of sleeping their way to the top.
Wolff is an admitted liar — even he doesn’t know what’s true or not in his own damn book — but still he gets the attention. For two reasons. — he’s a salacious gossip-monger, and he’s targeting Team Trump.
The press and their Dem allies have doubled down so many times that they are no longer even interested in whether a claim is true. They only care if an attack hits the right target.
Case in point, Comey — is he a good guy, or a bad guy to them?
That depends who gets hurt when they go after him. When they were upset with him for hurting Hillary’s chances, they wanted his head on a plate. When he aligned himself against Trump, he was suddenly their nominee for sainthood.
This is no different.
It says more about them than it does about their target.
They don’t really believe in strong women succeeding by their merit.
Or else they would recognize competence when they see it. And they would applaud it.
Not these guys.
For them, everything — even their alleged Feminism — must be bent in service of the Party. Which in turn, is bent in service of political power and favor-trading.

What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.
Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.
Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.
There’s a ladies’ version…
And a men’s version…
The problem isn’t just the lies they tell…
It’s the truth they DON’T tell…
And the opinions laced right through them.
And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!
