What, the Twinkie defense was already taken?
Why is it that family members always seem to make dumb excused for people who go out of their way to prove how monstrous they are?
When a kid in Kentucky took a gun to school and started shooting up his classmates, he only stopped when he ran out of ammo.
A fifteen-year-old girl — Baily Holt — lay dead. So did Preston Cope. Fourteen others were shot.
But the guy who shot up the place ‘isn’t a monster’. Just ask his family.
He has ‘reasons’, you see.
His stepsister took to Facebook after the shooting, claiming he was ‘not a monster’ and that he doesn’t deserve the death penalty. She added that he was bullied and his parents had recently divorced.
Tributes poured in for the two slain teenagers as classmates came to terms with the latest mass-shooting on American soil.
Oh. Bullied. AND his parents were divorced.
So he was a ‘victim’ then.
There’s no question that both of those things suck.
But bringing a loaded gun to school over it?
We’d say ‘don’t be a moron’, but obviously, it’s a little late for that.
