WATCH: Couple Punks CNN With Fake Wedding Proposal – CNN Reports It As Real
Reporting the fake as real. This is CNN.
Do you remember waaaay back in September when Clay Travis from Outkick was on CNN with Brooke Baldwin and triggered her when he said that he loved the First Amendment and boobs?
If you missed it, well, here it is:

Brooke Baldwin was outraged and stunned.
She would later comment on the moment in a pearl-clutching op-ed:
“I’ve been a journalist for 17 years — the past seven spent at CNN hosting a live show. I’ve seen and heard some things. But when I first heard “boobs” from a grown man on national television (in 2017!!!) my initial thought bubble was: “Did I hear that correctly?? There’s no WAY he just came on my show and said what I think he said. … DID HE?” And I let it hang.”
I just couldn’t let this go.
So I jumped back in and spelled it out like a fourth-grade boy: “b-double-o-b-s?!”
Yes. “Boobs.” He eventually confirmed: “boobs.” Almost proud, smirking.
I quickly felt myself turning red — getting irritated and angry. My mind was racing. My face, I could tell, was incredulous. In the thick of it all, I could see my other guest, Keith Reed, was equally aghast. The newsroom around me fell silent. I was staring into the camera trying to make sense of what was unfolding on live television. I even caught my cameraman Jay’s eyes in disbelief. I thought again: “It is 2017, and this grown man is on my show talking with me — a female host — about boobs. Is this seriously happening?”
Maybe Brooke wouldn’t have been so shocked if she had worked on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, or CBS This Morning with Charlie Rose.
Travis was ‘banned’ from appearing on CNN again.
That’s called being ‘Blacklisted’.
Travis and his followers were watching the pathetic CNN coverage on New Year’s Eve when this happened:
@ClayTravis “my balls are bigger than your balls.” @BrookeBCNN pic.twitter.com/EYOxcB3tYo

Clay Travis calls out Baldwin on her hypocrisy:
I DEMAND A PUBLIC APOLOGY ON BEHALF OF ALL MEN FROM @BrookeBCNN! HOW DARE SHE TALK ABOUT B-A-L-L-S on live TV?! https://t.co/z7IwjMQt5n
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 1, 2018
And then he hatched a plan. Punk CNN by saying ‘Boobs’ live on air and he’d give you $10K.
Okay, @outkick new year’s eve challenge for Bama, Clemson or others on Bourbon Street in NOLA. Boobs Baldwin and Don Lemon are interviewing random people in the bar there. Get on air and say you love boobs and I will give you $10k.
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 1, 2018
Then he sweetened the deal for the ladies:
FYI, for those of you going after the $10k. CNN is at the Spotted Cat in NOLA. If an @outkick girl gets on saying it to Boobs Baldwin, I’ll go $20k.
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 1, 2018
Travis then waited to see if anyone would take him up on his offer:
Then I sat back to see if anyone at Outkick could pull off the revenge.
And, less than an hour later, this happened.
And I’m going to be honest with y’all, the moment I saw this couple on live TV I was thinking, “This could be us!” I literally stood up from my couch when the girl said she was from Atlanta because Outkick absolutely owns the demo of couples in their 20’s and 30’s who graduated from college in the South.
But when the proposal happened and the girl grabbed the mic, my jaw just dropped.
Because it was absolutely perfect.
I could not have scripted this any better if I’d been trying.

Watch:
CNN reported the whole thing as real Live on the air, as well as on their website:
@outkick CNN is still reporting that a fake marriage proposal that destroyed them on live air was real. pic.twitter.com/Rl0W0tH6tg
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 1, 2018
This won’t surprise y’all, but @cnn is so dumb (or dishonest) that they’re treating the @outkick marriage proposal boobs trolling as real news. Legit fake news. pic.twitter.com/7Zhp7PJz2p
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 1, 2018
It looks like 2018 is starting with a bang — that couple that punked CNN start the New Year with an extra 20K, Clay Travis gets his revenge, and CNN reports the story as though it was a real proposal.
Although it seems that nothing has changed where CNN is concerned.
What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.
Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.
Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.
JOUR-NAL-IST: A Professional Liar For Liberal Causes
There’s a ladies’ version…
And a men’s version…
The problem isn’t just the lies they tell…
It’s the truth they DON’T tell…
And the opinions laced right through them.
It’s propaganda:

And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.
Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.
