High school kid wore a marines sweater to school, and his teacher got ‘triggered’. *Language warning.*
In response to the social media outcry, he doubled down. Here’s what he wrote, spelling errors and all:
If he’s saying ‘especially’ WWII vets… doesn’t that officially put him on the same side as the Nazis?
This guy is a COUNCILMAN, too? He’s a real ‘winner’.
A California teacher who is also a city councilman was allegedly caught on video disparaging members of the military, ranting, “We got a bunch of dumbs***s over there. Think about the people you know who are over there. They’re your freaking stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They’re dumbs***s. They’re not high level bankers; they’re not academic people; they’re not intellectual people. They’re the freaking lowest of our low.”
Not ‘morally’ low, mind you. He’s careful not to say that. He just goes on to explain how worthless and mindless they are. How they don’t care about school, and have a GPA of ‘zero point zero’.
Help me make this go viral. My friends son was sporting his marine sweater while this liberal douche teacher rants about…
He also disagrees with President Trump and other prior presidents’ claims that the US military is the best military in the world. ‘The data is in, we don’t have a good military,’ Salcido says.
He talks a lot of smack. The free education is just a sham. Because none of these people want to better themselves or learn anything.
That rant just goes on and on and on. ‘Killing machines’ fly overhead at football games. Our military sucks, we couldn’t even beat Vietnam where they ‘threw rice at us’.
I guess this guy didn’t vote for John Kerry, then.
“I don’t even know why we let the military come into school. You don’t let pimps come into school.”
Well, here’s a Business Insider headline that shows just how ignorant this POS teacher really is: 15 Fortune 500 CEOs who got their start in the military
And an older article — 2011 — from Forbes naming seventeen people from the Fortune 400 list.
Seventeen veterans from the Forbes list of 400 wealthiest Americans seized on that opportunity to dream big and build bigger. Together, their personal empires were worth a recent $50 billion–nearly 10% of the current U.S. military budget.
And of course, guys like this cannot exist in what passes for Mr. Salcido’s ‘mind’:
C. Andrew Griffin, Ed.D., Northern Arizona University: When I retired from the U.S. Army in 2000 with 22 years of active service I knew I wanted to pursue a second career in higher education. Therefore, I accepted a position with NAU Army ROTC as a military contractor serving as an assistant professor of military science, a position I held for nine years. During that time I also used my Montgomery GI Bill to obtain a doctor of education and began serving as an adjunct professor in the business college where I taught leadership and management related courses. In 2010, I was asked by NAU leadership to leave ROTC and establish the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs. I have served as its director since. And in addition, for the past six months I have also been serving as the university’s interim director for Scholarships and Financial Aid.
He returns to talking about the Marines sweater that triggered his rant in the first place, saying that someone shouldn’t wear something that they don’t really believe in, and he’s happy to call people out on that kind of thing.
That’s called ‘bullying’ Mr. Councellor. You have power over these kids, to drop their grades and ruin their future if they speak up.
You’re just another cowardly power-tripper like Weinstein … without the nudity.
Wouldn’t you just LOVE to see him face to face with someone who served in uniform? A debate, maybe? Something where they could match wits? Somewhere Salcido could be made to eat each and every one of his words?
Yeah, that would be awesome.
Maybe someone with connections could make that happen.
You don’t even have to pick someone who was top brass for that.
Any level-headed, articulate enlisted man could do it.
Maybe the topic could be about Freedom and why a student wearing that sweater to school, and Salcido denigrating them and launching into a political rant on the taxpayer dime are not both equally ‘free expression’
