With A Budget Like That, A Government Shutdown Looks Like A Good Idea

Written by Candace Hardin on March 22, 2018

It is almost time for the government shut down show down. As usual, the Democrats want to subsidize the world and give away the store, preferring to champion illegal alien’s rights over genuine citizens of the United States. The same people who will march for keeping school children safe in school, hoping to destroy the 2nd amendment, will happily fund Planned Parenthood where so many babies are aborted daily. Planned Parenthood, the organization that was caught illegally selling baby parts.

Those on the left who subscribe to and defend “Sanctuary Cities,” where the rights of felons who are in the country illegally and have been deported multiple times, are more important than the very lives of the denizens of said “Sanctuary City” such as San Francisco in the Sanctuary state of California.

Looking at the case of Kate Steinle, whose killer was a five-time deported felon, the lawyers for this man that caused her death complain and rail at the President because the trial was “vindictive.” Amazing how he has rights and should be defended even though he should have never been here to cause her death in the first place.

The Democrats are dead set against a wall at the Southern border. A wall that could have prevented this young woman’s death.

As for taxes, the Trump administration orchestrated an across the board tax cut for every level and type of taxpayer. The economy under President Trump is booming and jobs are being repatriated to the United States.

The Democrats had eight years to lower taxes and help the American People. Somehow, nothing was proposed and nothing was done. What was the excuse? They had ample opportunity.

The Republicans need to hold their ground and just let the typical liberal tantrums go unheeded, the American people sent these same Republicans to Washington to accomplish the President’s agenda. Shut it down if necessary, it really isn’t that big of a deal. All necessary services will continue.

Government employees will not be paid. The remedy for this is simple. Divert the salaries of the Congress and Senate to the coffers and pay the working person until a deal is made.

Americans want the wall, they want some control on Planned Parenthood, they want some significant immigration reform and DACA needs to be resolved. They also want to control spending, something the Democrats can’t comprehend. They only become deficit worried if President Trump wants to follow through on yet another of his campaign promises. Which, by the way, he has done in abundance much more than if compared to any US president in history.

He is trying to keep his word to the voter, while meeting opposition for opposition’s sake at every turn.

The funding for the wall needs to be approved. DACA, which is actually unconstitutional, needs to be made into law or dissolved.

Planned Parenthood needs to expand its purpose to actually include cancer screenings and family planning to its repertoire.

The Democrats get into a frenzy whenever the current administration proposes an idea. What they don’t do is counter propose their ideas.

How can one be so against progress, yet have no plans in the works from their side?

They complain about the deficit, yet did nothing but spend for the eight years of the Obama administration.

It all gets old really fast.

These issues need to be addressed into law. Propose the bills and get them signed.

Either get busy representing your constituents, or shut your pie hole.

You’re not on the Beltway to improve your life, you are elected to REPRESENT YOUR CONSTITUENCY!

As the old saying goes, “Please poop or get off the pot.”
