Notice they didn’t do this for the various shootings that WEREN’t leveraged into national movements.. like Vegas, Sutherland Springs, or Great Mills.
But the one shooting whose victims they put a team on for EVERY SINGLE DAY after the shooting, just happened to be the same group of people who led a big astroturfed event in Washington.
If we thought it was sketchy before (and we did):
Has Anyone Else Noticed Something Sketchy About How Quickly This Crisis Became a ‘Movement’?
It’s gotten WAY more sketchy with the latest ‘revelations’.
When you think of ’embedded journalists’ you think of war zones and riots. Not allegedly student-led protests.
This is the kind of BS that is leading to a crop of kids who would rather shred the Constitution (the virtue signaling shortcut) than actually address the real problems of the school shootings. Problems whose solutions won’t fit neatly on a bumper sticker or protest sign.
It’s, sadly, a sign of the times. The Effeminzation of the American Male. Doug weighs in on that, here.
And the ‘documentary’ takes us right to national protest, too. How convenient.
CBS News journalists, embedded with survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting, take viewers inside the creation of a movement as students turn grief into action in the documentary “39 Days.”
In the days after a former student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shot and killed 17 people, CBS News began following a group of students who banded together to fight back. They set out to let the world know immediate change is needed to save lives. The documentary captures students’ raw emotions as they grieve and work around-the-clock in an effort to change the gun laws of this country.
Journalists were also embedded with Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was killed in the shooting. Pollack’s searing and powerful speech at the White House has made him one of the most visible of the victims’ parents.
“39 Days” includes strong voices from the second amendment conversation. The documentary presents a timeline of the tumultuous events from the first day of the shooting to the “March for Our Lives,” rally, which took take place in Washington, D.C. and cities around the country – and the world.
Since it WAS the network of Dan Rather, it should come as no surprise that they are PUSHING a news story, rather than objectively reporting it.
I suppose we should be glad they’re not just making it up.
Although, speaking of ‘making it up’ we do notice that we have seen no such ’embeddings’ after Vegas, or the slaughter at Sutherland Springs, of after the Pulse shooting, or Fort Hood.
But when they just ‘happen’ to be the poster boys and poster girls for the next Liberal ‘movement’ the news media is not just on the scene to report it… but they are ’embedded’. Getting every nuance of the story right up until the anti-gun march on Washington which was arranged (of course) ‘by the children’. Not by a well-oiled political machine that is finding in these children (who should be at home grieving, at least those ones who were actually IN the same building as the shooters) are behaving as something Soviet propagandists supposedly called ‘useful idiots’.

What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out

Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.
Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.
There’s a ladies’ version…
