Fox News Made Its Choice Between Laura Ingraham & Hogg – Are You Surprised?

The decision for Fox News was an easy one. Do YOU agree with it?

The “Fair and Balanced” news channel has decided to stand by Laura Ingraham against the crybullying tactics of the rather disgusting behavior of Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg.

Despite Ingraham’s apology to Hogg for her ‘mean tweet’, he stands by the boycott and is making further demands that Ingraham cease to be a conservative commentator and instead become a ‘balanced’ journalist that will kiss his boots and wipe his backside like CNN does.

Recall, CNN’s Brian Stetler admits that he didn’t bother to correct blatantly false claims without correction:

Because … feelings!

After all, these are just children.

Really smart children that we should lower the voting age to 16 for.

But they’re not ready to handle weapons until they’re 21.

Go ahead, lefties, square that circle.

Fox News co-president Jack Abernethy told the L.A. Times that Fox News will not be bullied.

Fox News is standing by its embattled host Laura Ingraham, who has seen advertisers flee her show over a tweet directed at Parkland, Fla., school shooting survivor David Hogg.

We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts,” Jack Abernethy, co-president of Fox News, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times. “We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children.”

James Delingpole writes that it would have been ‘Game Over for Conservatives’ if Fox had given in.

Here’s an excerpt:

Had Fox caved, its credibility with its viewers would have been toast.

David Hogg – the Parkland shooting survivor who tried to destroy Ingraham (and nearly succeeded) on the basis of a tweet calling out his whiny entitlement – hates everything that Fox and its viewers represent.

So too do all the groups backing Hogg and encouraging companies including Office Depot, Jenny Craig, Hulu, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Wayfair, StitchFix, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Atlantis Paradise Island, and Liberty Mutual to pull their advertising from Ingraham’s show.

For Fox to have ditched Ingraham on the basis that she was no longer so bankable would have sent a clear message to the world: we value the opinion of people who loathe us more than we do the opinion of people who love us.

Bravo for standing your ground, Fox News.

We’re eagerly awaiting Laura Ingraham’s return. That opening monologue is sure to be a doozie.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
