McCabe’s Wife Said Trump Spews ‘Destructive Lies’ & Ruined Their Life – We Thought That Was Funny

Jill McCabe speaks out! (After being contacted by a big name news agency to share her story.) But it’s not ‘damage control’ at all. Not even a hint of damage control.

Jill McCabe was contacted by the Washington Post to ‘share her story’.

Here is Washington Post Deputy Editorial Page Editor Ruth Marcus explain why she asked Jill McCabe to ‘break her silence’:

Jill McCabe, an ER pediatrician in Virginia, wrote a fiery op-ed in the Washington Post on Monday responding for the first time to Trump’s past public attacks on her and her husband.

Mrs McCabe was previously called a ‘loser’ by Trump and he has long insisted that her 2015 run for the state Senate in Virginia influenced her husband’s decision-making within the FBI in relation to Hillary Clinton‘s email investigation.

She wrote that she was recruited to run for office in 2014 based on her opinions and support of Medicaid expansion and that she carefully considered her husband’s role at the FBI before she agreed to launch the campaign.

WaPo asked her to write the piece.

McCabe, despite reports to the contrary, is still getting a pension. He’s just not getting the bonuses for early retirement. That bro is 49 and already qualifies for a pension. Would you qualify for a full pension in your job at 49? #GovernmentEmployee

McCabe ran a GoFundMe page and raised over $538,000 for his legal defense before shutting it down.

Looks like Andy’s gonna need it.

The accusation is that McCabe’s run was influencing her husband’s investigation into Hillary’s emails. She received $500, 000 from a group affiliated with then-Virginia Governor, Terry McAuliffe (D), who had close ties to Hillary Clinton. It certainly looks pretty fishy.

If you go back to October 2016, ClashDaily covered it here:

HEY CNN: Could THIS ‘Clinton Connection’ Explain Why The FBI SHIELDED Hillary?

McCabe also says that the subject of Hillary’s emails never came up, even after she lost the race.

Here it is in her words:

Almost a year later, everything changed. A reporter called my cellphone on a Sunday in October 2016, asking questions about contributions to my campaign and whether there had been any influence on Andrew’s decisions at the FBI.

This could not be further from the truth. In fact, it makes no sense. Andrew’s involvement in the Clinton investigation came not only after the contributions were made to my campaign but also after the race was over. Since that news report, there have been thousands more, repeating the false allegation that there was some connection between my campaign and my husband’s role at the FBI.

After the 2016 election, I thought for a while that it was all over — at least now that President-elect Trump won, he would stop coming after us. How naive that was. After then-FBI Director James B. Comey was fired, we knew that Andrew could be the next target of the president’s wrath.

Why would anyone find a $500K donation from a close Hillary associate’s PAC to the Democrat wife of the Deputy FBI Director running for Senate in Virginia?

Then McCabe goes after President Trump:

Then the president started tweeting about how the contributions to my campaign made it clear that Andrew (and all the senior leadership at the FBI) were corrupt and that he should be removed. It went one step further in the days before Christmas, when the president made threats related to my husband’s retirement.

To have my personal reputation and integrity and those of my family attacked this way is beyond horrible. It feels awful every day. It keeps me up nights. I made the decision to run for office because I was trying to help people. Instead, it turned into something that was used to attack our family, my husband’s career and the entire FBI.

Nothing can prepare you for what happens when your life is turned upside down by current events. Nothing prepares you for conversations you have to have with your teenage children. Nothing prepares you for the news crews staking out your house, your back yard, your place of business. Nothing prepares you for the fear you feel every time you receive a package from a stranger.

I’m sure that President Trump would actually understand this. After all, he had to deal with Kathy Griffin’s beheading stunt, and the 90 percent negative media coverage, the crazy protests about every decision he makes, the constant mocking, and, now, CNN’s obsession with an alleged affair from 12 years ago with a porn star that is cashing in on the Media (D) attention.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
