Pastor Says: ‘America Must Act — Jesus Our Warrior Demands It’

America must defend Christians in the Middle East and help them defend their lands. We are commanded in the New Testament to pray for the saints always but not just to pray we are also responsible to help meet the needs and defend our brothers and sisters in Christ. It is shameful that the church has remained silent while genocide has been committed against Christians in the Middle East while the western church waits to get raptured out of here. PATHETIC!! What makes the western church think that they will not be held accountable for their lukewarm behavior? The Kingdom of Heaven IS at hand! Jesus pronounced the Kingdom of Heaven and the church acts as though they have no responsibility to the defense of the Kingdom.

“And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself. And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure. And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (Rev. 19:11-16 – ASV).

He calls us “More than a Conqueror” which has the meaning that the enemy is so completely destroyed so as to have no memory of their very existence. He (Jesus) Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

This is not a unicorn, candy canes and flowers Jesus. And lets not forget the overturning of the temple tables and lets not forget the leaders of Israel who plotted His assassination:

John 11:45 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. 46 But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. 47 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? For this Man works many signs. 48 If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”

49 And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, 50 nor do you consider that it is expedient for us[e] that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” 51 Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad.

53 Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death. 54 Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

55 And the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went from the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves. 56 Then they sought Jesus, and spoke among themselves as they stood in the temple, “What do you think—that He will not come to the feast?” 57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, that they might seize Him.

Jesus’ threat as a political opponent of both the leadership of Israel and Rome destroys all of the excuses of the current church that Jesus was a non-political lovey-dovey, approve of every action of every person, stand for nothing kinda guy. It is ridiculous to assume this as He continually called for holiness, clearly taught the law, warned against continued sin, rebuked Sadducees, Pharisees, followers, and disciples. He also spoke in no uncertain terms about a coming Kingdom and His role in it.

As such I conclude by saying America must meet this evil on the field of battle and the righteous shall prevail!
