‘Saint’ Jim Comey’s Recent Statements Contradict FBI Inspector General’s Report

We’ve learned a lot these past few days haven’t we, courtesy of two long-awaited documents. It’s a shame much of the media hasn’t put it all together yet. Doesn’t the media remind us all the time how important Woodward and Bernstein were? There’s enough out there today that even a J-school intern could out Watergate the watchdogs of Watergate.
First, Saint Jim of Comey pulled back the curtain and allowed us to learn that when he met with President Trump he was checking the Donald out in the same way Matt Lauer was once caught on camera and audio eyeballing a female colleague bending over in front of him. It’s pretty weird stuff.
More importantly, Comey gives us a very simple equation. In his book, Comey explains that he concluded investigation into Hillary Clinton because: a) she was expected to win the Presidency and b) he didn’t want to delegitimize her Presidency via an investigation.
Let that sink in for a moment. Then realize, Donald Trump is President and is under investigation by a special counsel in order to delegitimize Trump’s Presidency. Comey’s equation, not mine. Doubt me? Read Comey’s book.
Then, there is the FBI Inspector General’s report. The media has been all about McCabe, McCabe, McCabe, McCabe and guess who, yes, McCabe. They’ve overlooked or more likely ignored an important finding in the report.
Someone referred to as the “Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General”, which sounds like maybe the number three position at the Justice Department, on orders from the Obama administration called the FBI Director and told him to close investigations into Hillary Clinton. The FBI Director the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General called would have been Comey.
In other words, the FBI was actively investigating Hillary Clinton. There were no doubt top-notch FBI agents committed to the case. Then someone from the White House calls or walks – its not that far – over to the Justice Department and tells the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General to tell Comey to stop the investigation. (More likely, Attorney General Lynch told the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General to talk to Comey).
Jim Comey didn’t expect that to be noted in the FBI Inspector General’s report because, well, he’s not a very intellectual or attentive person. By his own admission he sat down to meet with the President and couldn’t help but study Donald Trump the way that weird guy that’s been in the strip club all day long studies the hell out of Julie when she takes the stage in pasties and a thong at the top of every hour. The FBI Inspector General’s report contradicts Comey’s claim.
That means Comey lied. He assigned what in his view was a moral imperative to explain away the reason he closed the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton. After all, he didn’t want to delegitimize her prospective Presidency; in Comey’s view a Hilary Clinton Presidency was a positive moral outcome of the 2016 election.
In fact, Comey was ordered to close the investigation by whoever the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General was at the time. Whoever the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General was at the time – and by the way, how come that name hasn’t been leaked yet? – received his or her orders from the White House, likely via Loretta Lynch. Consider the totality of what we know and the implications.
There was an approved and regularly renewed FISA warrant premised on a most likely faulty base of evidence. The FISA warrant resulted in acquisition of information Obama’s Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power requested be unmasked. (Clever wasn’t it? Use the UN Ambassador to make the unmasking requests to hide those requests as much as possible? In fact, unmasking requests surged as election day 2016 approached). This information leaked its way into media coverage thanks to people like Comey and McCabe; both have previously admitted to leaking information. Based on the Strzok-Lisa Page text messages – it appears all they did on the taxpayer’s dime was text each other – we know that in McCabe’s office McCabe, Strzok, maybe Page, and perhaps others, were discussing an “insurance policy” against what they viewed as the immoral disaster of a Trump Presidency.
In Jim Comey’s own words, the Mueller probe is designed to delegitimize the Trump Presidency because among a cabal, the extent of which we don’t yet know, the singular point of view was that a Hillary Clinton Presidency was moral and a Trump Presidency the opposite.
