In case anyone out there thought the Christian life was supposed to be a cakewalk … Doug serves up a cup of double espresso to wake you from your slumber!
It’s combat — not against flesh and blood, but a very real enemy that would gladly nail your scalp to the wall.
Awww… what’s the matter? Is that not a ‘comforting thought’? It is if you remember who wins in the end.
But you can’t sit and be passive about it. We live in a culture that did, and look where that got us… a culture that is slowly sliding into an abyss of nihilism and moral confusion.
And what comes with that? Increasing boldness in hostility against Christ, and anyone who dares proclaim him.
In the #DOUGCAST above (click ‘play’ to launch it) Giles exhorts the passive, dull and indolent believer to become a bit more bellicose in regards to that which is holy, just and good. Brace yourself for this one.
You “could” cower on the sidelines like the guy with ‘one talent’. But that strategy didn’t work out so well for him, did it?
It would also ensure a much, much more hostile environment for our kids to slug it out in. And everything else that goes with it.
Alternatively, we could cowboy up, roll up our sleeves and get to work.
Let’s go Raze Hell.
If you’re on the go, and would rather bring the audio with you, that’s an option.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.
Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.
That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.
There’s a men’s version…
And a women’s version, too…
Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
