Awww… what’s the matter? Is that not a ‘comforting thought’? It is if you remember who wins in the end.
But you can’t sit and be passive about it. We live in a culture that did, and look where that got us… a culture that is slowly sliding into an abyss of nihilism and moral confusion.
And what comes with that? Increasing boldness in hostility against Christ, and anyone who dares proclaim him.

You “could” cower on the sidelines like the guy with ‘one talent’. But that strategy didn’t work out so well for him, did it?
It would also ensure a much, much more hostile environment for our kids to slug it out in. And everything else that goes with it.
Alternatively, we could cowboy up, roll up our sleeves and get to work.
