Grasping at straws and shouting incoherent slogans are Democrat methods for remaining relevant.
Not long ago, after failing to injure this President during 18-months of nothing burger blizzards, Democrats decided to make ICE the issue. Their new motto is: “Abolish ICE!”
Powerful! Creative! Inspiring! (Rumor has it Democrats will move on to “Abolish the FDA!” in order to win the general election.)
Apparently DNC Chair Thomas E. Perez didn’t research this much, or run focus groups, because “Abolish ICE” is about as important to the voters as the dress code at the Elks Lodge in Minot, North Dakota.
Recent polling by a reputable firm (Rasmussen) shows 55% of likely voters oppose getting rid of ICE. That same report concludes:
“When families are arrested and separated after attempting to enter the United States illegally, 54% of Likely U.S. Voters say the parents are more to blame for breaking the law.”
The Rasmussen Poll also found a majority of likely voters believe the government is not being aggressive enough enforcing immigration law! Imagine that?! Voters want MORE enforcement, not less! Democrats are swimming upstream during a drought!
Once again, Democrats humiliate themselves chalking up another epic failure. It has come to the point Democrats are only successful at remaining irrelevant, attracting scorn and derision instead of votes.
