Hey ‘liberal Christians’… the gauntlet’s been dropped. Go ahead and try to prove them wrong!
Before you get any wrong ideas, this isn’t an exercise in ‘baptizing the GOP’ either. There’s plenty of room for criticizing them where they go off the rails, too.
But with the current trajectory and worldview that energizes what we can broadly call ‘the Left’, you are being forced to choose between faith and politics.
The reason for that is because the bedrock values of Christianity and the Political Left — increasingly — in direct conflict.
You need look no further the Christ-less and Trump-hating political speech ‘Mad Maxine’ gave from an actual church pulpit where — in other churches — a sermon might have been preached, instead.

And as thought to prove the point, her story broke AFTER this show was recorded.
Christians who have been a believer for any length at all are responsible to know and grow into Christian maturity. That includes measuring not just the things you do, but also the things you think you know against the standard of Scripture, and dumping dopey old ideas for the solid ones in scripture.
And yes, that will take actually KNOWING scripture.
It’s not just bad political ideas that will need to be thrown overboard, either. They BBQ quite a few sacred cows along the way.
