As analysts have been saying forever: if the Dems ever lose their lock on the Black vote, even a little, they’re in a world of hurt.
It seems like the NAACP has just welcomed the Dems to the political Hurt locker.

Trump has seen a huge surge in his poll numbers among the one group that supposedly ‘hates’ him. Maybe it was the Kanye effect. Or Candace Owens.
Maybe it was because those employment numbers are hitting new records.
Or MAYBE it’s because had the balls to ask a question that most Republicans didn’t even dare to ask.
‘What have you got to lose’
That long-standing faithful allegiance to the Democratic Party hasn’t done diddly squat for of the faithful, has it? And Trump had the balls to call them on it.
Now that he’s in Office, they’re starting to see those changes. Even the NAACP has reported it, even if they’ve buried it in their usual ‘Trump is a monster’ schtick.
President Trump continues to show improvement among African-Americans, but the NAACP Tuesday called him a racist.
In fact, in a new poll released by the group today, Trump’s approval rating among blacks has reached 21 percent, more than double what it was in an April Reuters poll.
But in its analysis, the NAACP slammed Trump and even went as far as claiming that Trump is setting race relations back, a charge that echoes recent media criticism of the president for slamming hoops star LeBron James.

But of course. They’ve got to get their shot in.
What they AREN’t mentioning is just how precarious the Democrats’ position is.
They can talk about a ‘Blue Wave’ all they want. But Trump won with only about 8% of the black vote.
Having 21% of the black vote supporting him might sound like news the NAACP might cheer about. They might spin it like he’s getting his butt kicked. But look closer.
Trump won with 8%. Democrats needed the rest to even make it close.
What happens to the Democratic chances when that slice of the pie gets cut down to size?
Well for one thing, the only ‘blue wave’ we’ll see from the Democrats is from their tears of impotent rage.
