Kanye West hasn’t backed off on his support for President Trump, and it’s making the left very, very angry.
Kanye, who famously said that President George W. Bush ‘doesn’t care about black people’ in a very awkward moment during a Hurricane Katrina fundraiser, has said that President Trump wants to be liked by the black community.
In a recent interview on the Chicago Hip-Hop and R&B station, WGCI 107.5, Kanye said that Trump wants to be the greatest President and he knows he can’t do that without winning over the black community.

Here’s what Kanye said on WGCI 107.5:
I feel that he cares about the way black people feel about him, and he would like for black people to like him like they did when he was cool in the rap songs and all this. And he will do the things that are necessary to make that happen because he’s got an ego like all the rest of us, and he wants to be the greatest president. And he knows that he can’t be the greatest president without the acceptance of the black community. So it’s something that he’s gonna work towards, but we’re gonna have to speak to him.
Black support for President Trump has jumped dramatically since the 2016 election. President Trump’s policies have been incredibly good for the black community, unemployment for blacks has hit a historical low.

How tolerant of them.
Kanye likes President Trump. He’s allowed to. There are many others that don’t like the President. They’re allowed to as well.
The problem is when one side reflexively calls Trump a racist with zero proof and then tries to completely silence the other side without even bothering to engage in reasonable debate about issues.
