Hey CNN: Why Are Trump’s “Mean Tweets” The End Of Democracy, But You Remain Silent About…

Chalk it up to ‘luck’ or ‘providence’, this California political candidate narrowly cheated death.

California GOP candidate, Rudy Peters is running as a candidate for California’s 15th Congressional District, and someone with a grudge against President Trump attacked him for it.

This isn’t the first, second, fifth, or tenth time we have seen people opposed to policies on the Political Right convince themselves that violence is an acceptable expression of personal outrage.

But few attacks have had such lethal potential as this one did… it involved a switchblade.

A man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault and other charges after allegedly attempting to stab a Republican congressional candidate with a switchblade over the weekend at in Castro Valley, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
[…] During the incident, Fazeli allegedly pulled out a switchblade knife and attempted to stab Peters. The knife malfunctioned and the candidate became involved in a physical struggle with Fazeli, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kelly.

The suspect then fled the scene, but was detained a short time later by deputies and was found in possession of a switchblade knife, Kelly said.

Fazeli was arrested for felony assault, criminal threats, brandishing a weapon and possession of a switchblade knife and booked into Santa Rita Jail.

The candidate was interviewed after the incident:

“He would have stabbed me,” Peters said. “I mean, he had it out saying, ‘I’m going to kill you MFer! I’m going to kill you!’ I could see his thumb trying to get the knife out.”

He said the encounters started with verbal threats.

“He picks up a coffee cup to rear back and throw it at us. And I jumped around the table. He throws the coffee cup and misses us. It hits the ground and breaks,” remembered Peters. “So I come out and grab him and wrestle him and throw him down to the ground.”

He said that was when Fazeli pulled out a knife.

“He’s screaming, ‘I’ll kill you MFer! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!’ And he’s kind of circling me trying to get the knife out,” said Peters

To his credit, Peters’ Democratic opponent handled the incident the right way:

There was an actual specific incident of violence against a Candidate?

The Champions of the Free Press™ and Great Defenders Of The Democratic Process™ over at CNN put their best crackerjack reporters on the story immediately, right?

More than 24 hours after authorities announced the arrest of a California man who allegedly tried to stab a Republican congressional candidate, CNN has yet to inform its audience of the story.

Why wasn’t this top-tier news for CNN? (Other than the fact that they are so very busy over there blaming hurricanes on Trump?)

Probably because violence AGAINST Republicans BY the political Left isn’t the kind of news they like to report. They’d be far happier reporting Hoax reports of phantom violence BY Trump supporters against this-or-that victim group. That’s the kind of news story they can really sink their teeth into.

For some reason.

But don’t call them ‘fake news’. They take offense to the term, now matter HOW accurate it might be.

What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.

Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.

Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.

JOUR-NAL-IST: A Professional Liar For Liberal Causes

There’s a ladies’ version

And a men’s version

The problem isn’t just the lies they tell…

It’s the truth they DON’T tell…

And the opinions laced right through them.

It’s propaganda:

And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!
