How to Kick Depression’s Ass (Part 1)

Sooner or later, everyone gets jackhammered by life one way or another. Here’s some help on how someone can roll with it without letting depression completely derail you.

Depressed? If you said, ‘Yes’, you’re not alone. Lots of regular folks deal with it on a regular basis. Rich and Doug discuss how to beat it so that it doesn’t beat you in this very informal, gloves off, bare-knuckle, Warriors & Wildmen.

Have you ever noticed that we don’t all react to life’s hardships the same way?

Some people stand strong after the kind of hardship that would flatten ten men, while others go into the fetal position over a paper cut? Have you ever wanted to be better equipped at handling the curve balls life throws at you, emotional or otherwise?

Well, we have some good news for you.

1) Even some of the greatest and most influential people on the planet have struggled with depression. We’re talking about world-changers like Churchill, Martin Luther and Bonhoeffer, as well as artists past counting.

2) There are strategies you can use to weather the storm and come out on top… and not just the kind you might expect.

If that’s you (or someone close to you) grab a pen and paper (or whatever you take your notes on), click play, and get ready to climb out of that hole and back into the light of day.

Yes, you really CAN get off the bench and get back in the game, no matter how jacked-up you think things are.

Some tips are really bare-bones practical changes you can make to take back control and some others will help you reframe your situation so that it isn’t so terribly overwhelming.
