In a business meeting, she was trying to pitch a product, and he was busy trying to make a play at her. Would he have been so handsy if he knew he was being recorded?
What makes this film so creepy is that it was recorded by his accuser, Melissa Thompson, several hours before Weinstein is accused of raping her.
We all know that Weinstein has earned himself a reputation of being Hollywoods Big Kahuna of creepy sexual situations, and he wasn’t afraid to impose himself on attractive women who were seeking his cooperation in a business or film deal.
Normally, how he treats women who are trying to win him over as a client happens where nobody can see him in action. In this case, the business presentation — including his awkward, creepy, handsy plays at an attractive young professional woman — were caught on camera.
Like Weinstein’s face — or the rest of him for that matter — it wasn’t pretty.
Ms Thompson told Sky News: ‘Now I see he’s trying, in any way he can, to move me into that zone of comfortable then uncomfortable and confused, and vulnerable, and recognising that he’s powerful and I’m not, and that I need this deal from him, and he has the power to give it to me.
‘I think (he) was playing a cat-and-mouse game from the very beginning to see how far he could push me, and what my reactions might be, so that he could gauge… how he would play me; where my levers where, what were my vulnerabilities.’

There was an awkward hug right off the top.
There was inappropriate sexual banter including a painfully unsubtle sexual proposition.
He didn’t take the hint when she replied with a dismissive tone.
He kept at it. And nothing about his advances could be called in any way ‘smooth’.
Notice the cringe-worthy way he strokes her shoulder later in the clip.
If he didn’t have the kind of wealth that gave him ridiculous power and influence, his face would have been slapped and crotch kicked so many times by so many women that he’d be on a first-name basis with the ER trauma team.
Maybe he thought his power protected him, as it often protects others.
Well, his luck ran out.
Melissa Thompson, who has previously publicly complained of abusive behavior by Weinstein during a 2011 business meeting in New York, gave a tape of the encounter to Sky News.
Thompson told the station she had been offering her tech company’s video platform to the 66-year-old, and recorded the meeting as part of the pitch.
Just hours later, Weinstein allegedly raped her in his hotel room, the woman told Sky News.
