This ‘objective journalist’ accidentally revealed her bias in a pretty spectacular way.
Brenda Battel, a reporter with the Huron Daily Tribune in Bad Axe, Michigan, contacted the campaign office of John James to schedule a phone interview on Wednesday to discuss the results of the election. James is African American and a former Army veteran running for Senate seat against Democrat incumbent, Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
She left a voicemail with her contact info and hung up — at least she thought she had hung up.
Unbeknownst to Battel, the call was still connected as she stated what she really thought of John James.
Man, if he beats her… Jesus! F**king John James. That would suck! Whew, I don’t think it’s going to happen though.
Apparently Brenda Battel.
John James has recently had a huge jump in the polls, and the race has tightened dramatically. At one point, James was 20 points behind Stabenow in multiple polls, but now he trails by just 2 points. He seems to be picking up some Independent votes, at the same time, he’s received some big-name GOP endorsements recently, including President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Don Jr., National Security Advisor, John Bolton, and Florida Senator, Marco Rubio. The race is so tight, that VP Pence made a trip out there last week to campaign for James.
MI Senate (n=880)
Debbie Stabenow (D) 49
John James (R) 47
George E. Huffman III 1
Marcia Squier (G) 1
John Howard Wilhelm 1
Unlike Gretchen Whitmer, Debbie Stabenow is losing among independents, 47-44. Both major candidates lead 95-3 among people in their own party.

In a statement to The Daily Caller News Foundation, James’s campaign manager expressed her frustration with the media, mentioning this happened as the race has tightened significantly.
“It shows you that some media will do anything to keep the status quo and career politicians in power,” campaign manager Tori Sachs said. “The liberal media can’t stand the idea of a job creator and combat veteran coming to Washington to shake up the system. This happened as we closed in within the margin of error.”

Battel got some really bad news when the Daily Caller Exclusive story — along with the audio — went viral on Monday.
The Huron Daily Tribune fired a reporter Monday evening, hours after her inadvertent insults of GOP Michigan Senate candidate John James went viral.

Good. That’s just not professional.
And frankly, it’s kind of lazy to not check that the phone was hung up properly.
The Media (D) just can’t let their bias go, can they?
I wonder what the Media (D) would have said about a white, female reporter saying the same thing to an African American Democratic candidate?
You know what every single CNN panel would look like for the next week:
It’s the blatant hypocrisy that is just infuriating. If a conservative says anything criticizing a non-white Democrat’s policies, it’s deemed racist, but a reporter can say, ‘F**king John James’ and there’s not even a suggestion of racism. (I’m not saying that Battel was being racist, by the way. Likely, she’s just a leftist and not a fan of his policies.)
Remember, kiddies, Van Jones said that President Trump was elected because it was a ‘white lash’ against a black president when both of the binary options were white. What were we supposed to do? Write in Kamala Harris’s name?
It must be tiring to be a perpetually offended leftist.
And it’s only been two years.
It’s going to be a rough 6 years for leftists!
