You’re going to LOVE the Duchess of Cambridge after this…
If her beauty and elegance didn’t make you a fan, this certainly will.
It’s been made clear in the news that the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is no fan of hunting. It was even reported that she had ‘banned’ her husband, Prince Harry, from partaking in the Boxing Day hunt which has been a Royal Family tradition for generations. However, after the story made news worldwide, Royal sources denied the claim.
It turns out that Harry did join in on the post-Christmas hunt after all.
After the pregnant Duchess of Sussex left the Sandringham Estate, the Duchess of Cambridge went hunting with Prince William and some other members of the family — and she brought along her own shotgun.
That could make for some awkward family dinner conversation.
Kate, 36, has become a keen markswoman – and has even invested in her own shotgun, sources say.
But she waited until after Meghan’s departure on Boxing Day to join her husband, Prince William, and other family members to blast pheasants, partridges and ducks on the Queen’s 20,000-acre Norfolk estate on Thursday.
That’s pretty awesome!
The Duchess of Cambridge goes out shooting frequently at the country home, and is a pretty good shot, to boot.
A royal insider said that the duchess has bought a 20-bore shotgun, which is much lighter and easier to use than the usual 12-bore.
The source said: ‘She frequently goes out shooting when she is staying at Anmer Hall [the Cambridges’ country home at Sandringham] and has become a really good shot.
‘She is very much into the hunting, shooting and fishing country lifestyle. The 20-gauge smooth bore gun is ideal for shooting game birds.’
But wait! There’s more!
She’s been shooting for years and doesn’t seem to be bothered by the anti-hunting crowd. Not only that, she’s introducing her children to the sport.
She has been seen shooting on the estate before and in her 20s was photographed deer stalking with her parents at Balmoral.
Kate is also said to be introducing her children George, five, Charlotte, three, and eight-month-old Louis to the post-Christmas tradition.
In years gone by, the Queen and royal wives would follow the shoot, often wringing the necks of injured birds.

Follow the hunt, eh? Not Kate. She took part in it.
It’s official — Kate has just become my favorite Royal!
How about you?
Do you prefer the hunting-loving Duchess of Cambridge or the animal rights activist Duchess of Sussex?
If a person looked to Scripture and paid particular attention to the passages within the Bible that address the topic of hunting, then they’d walk away thinking not only is hunting animals tolerated but it is endorsed by God. And that’s exactly what this little book is about: proving that God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting. I’ll go out on a biblical limb and claim right off the bat that you cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scripture is against the responsible killing and the grilling of the animals He created. ~Doug Giles
In his killer new book RISE, KILL & EAT: A Theology of Hunting From Genesis to Revelation Doug carries on with his courageous war against the lunatic fringe who dare recommend Bambi solutions to the annual production of edible wildlife. –Ted Nugent
