Pence Steps Up: Defends Wife & Religious Liberty Against Secular Sniping

Written by Wes Walker on January 18, 2019

Face it, they hate us whatever we do. Critics slam FLOTUS as a stay-at-home mom and the Second Lady for working at a Christian School.

She’s started working at a (*gasp*) School!

*yawn*

Oh, no… whatever are we going to do about that?

Wait, that’s a problem now? What’s the big deal about working at a school?

It’s a … CHRISTIAN … School!

Nope, I still don’t see the big deal. Unless you mean the deep-seated hatred of ideas and institutions that the Left can’t hijack and needs to destroy?

Let’s see what the Vice President has to say about the issue, since he just weighed in on it:

“My wife and I have been in the public eye for quite a while but I have to tell you, to see major news organizations attacking Christian education is deeply offensive,” Pence told EWTN. “We have a rich tradition in America of Christian education and, frankly, religious education broadly defined. We celebrate it. The freedom of religion is enshrined in the Constitution of the United States.”

…“The Constitution prohibits a religious test for holding public office, so we’ll let the critics roll off our back. But this criticism of Christian education in America should stop,” he added.

True, but there are other Elected Officials (on the left) who don’t seem to care that such a ‘religious test’ is prohibited, aren’t there?

Looking at YOU Bernie! Even if you aren’t the only offender.
