Politicians run for office to ‘make a difference’, right? Is THIS really what they had in mind?
The ‘Deplorables’ all across ‘flyover country’ looked on in horror and disgust while limousine liberals congratulated themselves for how ‘woke’ they are as they went all-in on the abortion issue.
Any restriction to abortion? Gone.
Any recognition of fetal rights? Gone.
And they all cheered loudly over their ‘victory’ over the Pro-life advocates.

And now the bill comes due.
Prosecutors initially included a charge of abortion against the Queens man arrested Friday in his pregnant girlfriend’s murder — but rescinded it because of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s new Reproductive Health Act.
Queens District Attorney Richard Brown sent out a press release saying Anthony Hobson, 48, would be charged with second-degree abortion as well as murder in Sunday’s fatal stabbing of Jennifer Irigoyen, 35.
But a DA spokeswoman later told The Post that the abortion charge “was repealed by the Legislature, and this is the law as it exists today.”
What? Didn’t they stop and ask themselves the question of unintended consequences? Of course not. That would be putting rationality ahead of ideology and,, really who has time for that? They have a world to ‘fundamentally transform’!
These ‘progressive’ wizards didn’t even stop to apply the Chesterton’s Fence principle?
In the matter of reforming things, as distinct from deforming them, there is one plain and simple principle; a principle which will probably be called a paradox. There exists in such a case a certain institution or law; let us say, for the sake of simplicity, a fence or gate erected across a road. The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, “I don’t see the use of this; let us clear it away.” To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: “If you don’t see the use of it, I certainly won’t let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it.
Great job, guys.
New York's abortion law helped out a man accused of murdering his pregnant girlfriend https://t.co/RTMotFlBkJ

Let’s put it in plain language:
Oh my God this is sick.He didn't get charged for murdering the baby because it's now ok to kill babies in NY. https://t.co/lkxBseJIL4

That WAS the goal, wasn’t it?
They decided that having unfettered access to abortion was such an important issue for their
financial backers at Planned Parenthood, er, crusade for “women’s rights” that the man who murdered an expectant mother and her unborn child will now never fully face the weight of his actions.
Keep applauding yourselves, guys.
We see who you really are, and it disgusts us.

What a bunch of moral midgets. Did you WANT abortion to be THE 2020 election issue?
Be careful what you ask for.
In some years, including this one, more Americans may identify as pro-choice than pro-life, but more than six in 10 of those who say they are pro-choice (61 percent) join the three-quarters of all Americans in wanting abortion restricted to – again, at most – the first trimester. So do about six in 10 Democrats (59 percent), eight in 10 independents (78 percent) and nine in 10 Republicans (92 percent).
Get Doug Giles’ new book:
Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
