Well, them and the people who had something to gain by his tall tale being true. Spartacus, and Kamala Harris, for example. They’d LOVE for his hate hoax to be real.
They could have gotten a lot of miles off that story. Instead, they wound up backpedaling.
But now that the police have released their report, and the evidence they’ve collected so far, Smollet is NOT a victim. He doesn’t even rate as a ‘sympathetic figure’. He’s now coming off as a spoiled, entitled Hollywood wannabe A-lister who tried to manufacture a scandal for personal gain.
When people start making parodies like this about you, you know you’ve gone and screwed up… badly.
