Babs recently made some pretty outrageous statements in the wake of the Leaving Neverland documentary.
Barbara Streisand, 76, recently told the Times of London in an interview that she believes the allegations of child sexual assault leveled by James Safechuck and Wade Robson against Michael Jackson, but that she feels bad for the victims and for Jackson because being drawn to young boys were just his ‘sexual needs.’ She described Jackson, whom she met on several occasions as, ‘very sweet, very childlike.’
Streisand said she believes the victims’ claims, but felt bad for both them and Jackson, adding that Jackson’s ‘sexual needs were his sexual needs’ and the blame should lie with the boys’ parents.
She implied that the abuse couldn’t have been all that bad because the boys were ‘thrilled to be there’ as children and ‘it didn’t kill them’ — they grew up, got married and had children of their own.
Dan Reed, the director of Leaving Neverland was appalled and asked the singer about her comments on Twitter:

In a wide-ranging interview that covered how Streisand clones her dogs and stays up until 4 am, she made the outrageous comments that Jackson’s ‘sexual needs were his sexual needs’ and seemed to dismiss the sexual abuse of children. Robson and Safechuck claim that Jackson began sexually abusing them when they were aged 7 and 10, respectively.
When asked if she felt angry with Jackson, she said, ‘It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess the parents.‘
‘You can say “molested,” but those children, as you heard [grown-up Robson and Safechuck] say, they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them,’ she said.
‘His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.’…
….’I feel bad for the children,’ she said, of Robson and Safechuck. ‘I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?’

Streisand seems to be suggesting that pedophilia is just a sexual orientation by saying it might have been in Jackson’s DNA.
I’m old enough to remember when conservatives warned that this very thing might happen under the ever-expanding LGBT2Q+ movement.
Her comments were condemned on social media:
Here’s what Barbara Streisand said about Michael Jackson molesting KIDS:
“His sexual needs were his sexual needs"
“You can say molested but those children were thrilled to be there"
"It didn’t kill them"
She also blames pedophilia on DNA. Sickening. https://t.co/QvQUz5mZGa

But did we expect a reasonable take from the person who clones her dogs and sued a photographer for documenting the California coastline which happened to include her Malibu mansion? (See ‘Streisand Effect’)
