Companies FLEE From Lori Loughlin And Her Daughter After College Bribery Scandal

Written by Wes Walker on March 15, 2019

It’s a simple case of cause and effect.

It’s the very thing the Left cheers so excitedly over when they can pressure advertisers or show producers to do it to someone on the Right.

Lori Loughlin just got ‘Roseanned’.

Lori Loughlin’s storied television career has come to a screeching halt after accusations she paid $500,000 in bribes to get her daughters accepted into the University of Southern California.

One day after Loughlin was indicted on a single count of mail fraud, the actress was fired from her roles on the Hallmark Series When Calls the Heart and the Garage Sale Mysteries franchise as well as being cut from the network’s annual holiday movie offerings.

The network also announced that this week’s episode of Loughlin’s series, which she was filming when charges were announced on Tuesday, will not air as executives decide on the show’s future.

Hallmark’s parent company Crown Media said it was ‘saddened’ by the allegations against Loughlin but is no longer working with her and has halted all productions she stars in for the time being.

Her daughter, too, is facing the consequences of this negative publicity.

It is not just Loughlin who is feeling the heat either, with Sephora and Tresemme both announcing that they have ended their partnerships with Loughlin’s YouTube star daughter Olivia Jade.

We will point out that these are different in one substantial way than the boycott movement.

In the boycott movement attempts that ‘erased’ Roseanne, and have tried to do the same with Tucker Carlson recently, or Laura Ingraham and Chick-fil-a in the past have a particular predictable formula.

Find some comment to get outraged over. Tell the world that THEY should ALSO be outraged over it. Pressure advertisers to withdraw support from something that has ‘outraged so many people’.

It’s an entirely orchestrated attack designed to ruin a political rival.

How is this scenario different?

Easy.

The same businesses who originally thought an association with these women would enhance their brand in the eyes of the public, now see them as ‘damaged goods’ who would drag their brand down.

Nothing personal.

And that’s exactly how it’s different from the orchestrated boycotts engineered by the Left.

Had they not behaved as though the rules the rest of us live under didn’t pertain to them, they never would have become a news story.

And that doesn’t even begin to consider the implications of pending lawsuits like class action lawsuit for HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS.

Payback, as they say, is a real bitch.

In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
