A Good Guy With A Gun Chased Shooters From 2nd Mosque Shooting

And this is exactly why groups like the NRA promote all law-abiding citizens having the right to protect themselves with a firearm.

By now, you’ve likely heard about the slaughter in New Zealand.

Police Commissioner Mike Bush said the shootings were “abhorrent”. At the Deans Ave mosque 41 people were killed, while seven had died at the Linwood mosque. A 49th person had died in hospital.

The gun-grabbers keep telling us that a ‘good guy with a gun’ is a myth. The gun grabbers are demonstrably wrong. A ‘good guy with a gun’ took down the killer in Sutherland Springs, and early reports suggest one stepped up to keep the casualty count in the second mosque from climbing as large as the first one he hit.

A second shooting happened at a mosque in the Linwood area of the city.

One Friday prayer goer returned fire with a rifle or shotgun.

Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots around 1.45pm.

A well known Muslim local chased the shooters and fired two shots at them as they sped off.

He was heard telling police officers he was firing in “self defence”.

“They were in a silver Subaru,” he told police.

There’s more to that story:

A survivor of a mass shooting in a New Zealand mosque said a man wrestled the shooter’s gun out of his hands and then chased him out of the mosque in a bid to save more lives.

Syed Mazharuddin, a witness of the shooting in Christchurch’s Linwood Mosque on Friday, told the New Zealand Herald newspaper that a “young guy who usually takes care of the mosque” tackled the gunman.

He said the man “pounced” on the gunman, “took his gun,” and then chased him out of the building.

“The hero tried to chase and he couldn’t find the trigger in the gun … he ran behind him but there were people waiting for him in the car and he fled,” Mazharuddin said.

It takes enormous courage for an unarmed man to wrestle a gun away from an armed attacker. An innocent bystander was shot in the face while they struggled over control of the weapon.

How many more lives might have been saved if one or more members of the second mosque had been armed.

Better still, how many would have been saved if they saw an armed gunman approaching and shot him dead on sight at the FIRST mosque.

Our own Warriors and Wildmen duo have been calling for the armed defense of places of worship at least since the Sutherland Springs massacre, and even before then. WOW! Every Pastor Needs To Hear This Discussion On The Use Of DEADLY Force

If they had means to defend themselves and their unarmed mean and women in prayer, the only one dead today would be the feral dog that deserved to be put down in the first place.
